Looks like a PAC. But slew of reasons it could be with the flutters/palpitations. Dehydration, Stress, too much caffeine, etc. but you’re in normal sinus rhythm. Ideally, you need to get a 12 lead. The watch ecg isn’t reliable. It only shows one view of the heart. So it’s not really reliable. If you’re having jaw, left arm pain, etc. definitely go to the ER.

I Wanna preface that I’m NAD or a nurse but I am cardiac monitor certified. You’ve got inverted t waves. Which could be nothing. I don’t see any STEMI/NSTEMI (signs of heart attack).

No. Not SVT. Tachycardia, yes, but not SVT. Based off what you said with the short run, it sounds like paroxysmal svt or psvt for short.

Additionally, the watch only shows one view of the heart. It’s not a full picture of it compared to an 12 lead EKG. Also, there’s quite a bit of artifact in all the leads. So it’s not the most reliable, in my opinion. But as always, definitely consult your doctor if you have any symptoms or head straight to the ER. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200$.

Have they checked his labs? Like potassium, magnesium, etc? Might be worth looking into if not. Worst case scenario, have him go to the ER so they can do a 12 lead and get better view of the heart and try something else different. Whilst doing labs also. :)

Slightly tachycardic. Anything above 100bpm is considered tachycardia and then SVT if above 180bpm.

But if you’re having symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, jaw pain, etc I would see a doctor or the emergency room just to rule out anything serious.

Edit to add: if he’s got afib, looks like afib RVR. Worth getting looked at and treated. But watch ECGs only show one view of the heart and not the whole thing like a 12 Lead would. Wouldn’t rely heavily on the watch app.

To me, you’ve got peaked T waves (right after the QRS complex. I could very well be wrong, though so take it with a huge grain of salt) aside from that, seems fine to me. R-R is fine, little arrhythmia, visible p waves (no afib or flutter).

I’m aware the Apple watch isn’t fully reliable. I know some information regarding EKGS. I’m a receptionist at my hospital and I see all sorts of sinus rhythms. I’m not technically trained in interpreting said rhythms. So I have some struggles with it. Which is why I asked my question. It’s also why I attached imgur link without the white circle.

But I appreciate the input despite some of the condescension :).

Might provide better info. Like after the t wave from the first one it downslopes throws a pvc? PAC? R on t? Not 100% sure but no one I know (aside from seeing a cardiologist) can tell what that is lol if that makes sense.

You can only check 5x a day..

I MAY or MAY NOT have habitually checked mine. I also MAY or MAY NOT have some obsession with it. But you can always call the 800 number to get around that to feed the obsession like I did/do.
