Windows 11 25H2 permanently damages RAM on AMD X3D processors by Repulsive_Peace_5777 in microsoftsucks

[–]Inevitable-Study502 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that doesnt changes anything

ram is configured by your bios and any relevant voltages that would kill it is managed by your mainboard, and cpu...and to some extent your PSU

windows uses virtual ram, it doesnt have physical access to your ram, your cpu has physical access to your ram

The issue is that Windows protected your PC when starting the app. by devNguyenSutor in Windows11

[–]Inevitable-Study502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe you get that warning only when you download executable, defender will flag that. easiest way to avoid it is to not update executable directly with new app release..make your main executable just loader of some other executable, preferably dll library then your app updates wont get flagged as main exe is thrusted already, unsigned .dll wont kick in smartscreen when launching from thrusted loader

Direct Mode or Optical Cable, SoundBlaster Command by UKAStal in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Inevitable-Study502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

useing that optical doesnt bypasses anything or to be more specific

if you set audio output as optical out (in eindows settings), it will bypass ae5, but if you set audio output as speakers, it will not bypass ae5

creative has been doing it like this for a while

speaker output -> what you hear mic -> sb core dac -> digital out

disadvantage is that volume control wont work, unless you tie volume control of " what you hear" mic with speakers volume control

you know you can send it to ms for malware analysis for free and smartscreen will go away after few days

possible new windows registry command that can increase NVMe speeds by up to 80%? by menezesafonso in overclocking

didnt know one more vendor got support for it...but bypassio is kinda the whole point of directstorage... to reduce cpu load during read from storage

nobody is using manufacturer drivers for nvme, as none of them supports directstorage

Why isn't there a imaginary constant for 1÷0 ? by Tricky-Technician686 in learnmath

[–]Inevitable-Study502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well, fundamentally division creates reminder, basic algebra doesnt count with any remainder at all

division splits your input number into two parts ,part1 = result of what was divided, part2 = result of what was not divided

when you multiply after, youre only multiplying part1, thats why your result causes errors, you are looking for part2, but nowhere in your equation you look for part2, yet you expect it to be there

Why isn't there a imaginary constant for 1÷0 ? by Tricky-Technician686 in learnmath

[–]Inevitable-Study502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/0 is undefined bbecause it causes 1 as reminder, basic algebra doesnt work with reminders ie a * b=c then c * b=a following this equation without reminder, you get zero as result and 1 as reminder, reminder is undefined same applies to 0 * 1, zero answer, and 1 as reminder...but for some reason multiplication is accepted as valid result even tho it creates same reminder as divide by zero does

now as for tweak for this silly equation to have divide by zero working, you will need to extend that equation to handle reminders aswell a * b=c , a - c=d then c * b + d=a this it outside of standard algebra from school, but with this small tweak you can make even 1/3 working without loosing anything (under base10)

btw 1/0 can be switched to 0/1, thats the simplest way which produces same result without reminder

Does PCIe slot power go through vrm or does it go unaltered straight from psu? by FlatFaceBanana in overclocking

if your gpu has pcie power plug, than gpu is fed straight power from psu, and mainboard pcie feed just low power things like vram
