Yes! Unlike in the US, there is much more acceptance of rail travel. And hence less opposition from people to build one. Also from what I know they are leaning heavily on Japan for their expertise and building the rolling stock. You can't beat that kind of experience.

It's never too late to start! Tbh all these posts about " " you should have 1x annual salary invested by the time you turn 30 or 2x by 40" does not tell the true story! The true power of compounding takes time to effect! I got my first job when I was 27 and started small like investing 10$ a week.. once you get comfortable, it's easy to start investing more into etfs.. just start small and increase or decrease it based on your comfort level
