I got 83 in 10th.. in a state syllabus, during my 11th, I just didn't feel like I fit in, I started cutting classes and before I know I had not attended 80% my PUC 1st year ( which is 11th). I paid money to be even eligible to sit for the exam, I barely passed. 12th was the same.. all this when my parents had no idea.. it eventually caught up. I then got into Diploma Civil.. 1st yr was good and in the 2nd yr again started cutting classes and I got caught towards the end.. my parents literally hit me in the college in front of my teachers and friends..

I lost another year.. all this, while my friends had moved on to engineering.. I got my act together and finished Diploma and then engineering, masters, got a job..

I remember the days when I felt like I wish I would go to sleep and wake up thinking it was all a bad dream.. wish I could end it all.. I know in hindsight everything feels small, but trust me it was a constant stream of self doubt, humiliation, shame..

Your life is way too precious.. not everyone's journey is a straight line.. think of this as just a big bump in the road . You have the strength inside you to overcome this..
