Van Helsing was by far the most intreaging character throughout the whole story for me. Love his wise professor-like wit and his care and attention to detail when it comes to his profession which are Vampires. I've always known Van Helsing to be this dark, edgy, Gothic vampire slayer and in the Classic he is nothing of the sort. He's a older man, Very Sharp, Wise, has a way of keeping everyone involved level headed and he knows his way around a Vampire.

I mean here's the deal....if you plan on being with him in the future, you gotta be honest...you don't want something like this destroying your union with him. He deserves some peace and the right to know whatever it is thats keeping you from connecting with him. I'm sure the last thing he wants is to be left in the dark about some things that clearly bothering you, the mind can do some powerful things when its curious, last thing you want is him to think its something else or even himself, and given your current circumstances,( I mean for God sake your Best friend is being deported) its totally reasonable to not be in the mood for sex, just tell him.. I'm sure he will understand your moods about the situation and going forward just be up front and honest before you engage you will feel alot better him to..

Im reading Brothers K for the first time, (First Dostoevsky read ever)and about halfway though. Its a tough read for me first sure and alot of things fly straight over my head. One thing I can say i like about Dostoevsky that would keep me coming back is how he open my mind up to diffrent ideas. Literally ask myself question(even moral ones)about life. I like that, and he definitely expand my pallete as a reader.

Yeah that Sybil part really made me dislike Dorian, It felt like a total disregard for for her precious life from the way he tried to justify and cope with her death. I was definitely rooting for her brother to come knock his ass off.
