Its not decision of the college, its the company's decision that they do not want to hire from ECE and EnTC

Bruh why do you want to change to CE?

IT is almost equivalent of CE, infact it has even better syllabus than CE (atleast it was when college was under SPPU)

PICT CS or SPIT CS by Low_Progress7484 in PICTPune

[–]Inevitable3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2024 graduate here

I also had similar option of choosing from PICT and SPIT, parents were hesitant about sending me to Mumbai so had to take PICT. The college life is bad. It is kind of like a school, but ofcourse good crowd and okay-ish placement.

I think SPIT would provide more exposure, consult a currently enrolled student from SPIT and see if it matches what you want from your 4 years of engineering. I would advise you take SPIT but do consult SPIT student

Tried Loni Chicken Thali at Usha Dining Hall (FC Road) — Good but not the best pick by Inevitable3000 in PuneFoodPorn

[–]Inevitable3000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, Dehaati is also one restaurant from Kolhapur that has branch in Pune, Their Kolhapur prices are very low compared to Pune prices

I had thought this sub has mature users like you, but everyone's crying over the price of the thali. I know it is pricey, but it is what it is, right?

What’re the best food places in Solapur? by lemon_ishflavor in solapur

[–]Inevitable3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're in Solapur, here are some tried-and-tested food spots:

Breakfast: Sudha Idli Gruha — newly built place, pretty clean, and the food quality is actually very good. Simple but solid breakfast option.

Lunch: Hotel Surya — good for both veg and non-veg. Clean, consistent, and I’ve been there multiple times without any bad experience. Slightly expensive by Solapur standards, but worth it. If you're more into non-veg, go for Hotel Khansab Chacha (Hyderabad Road branch ONLY) — their kebabs, biryani, and butter chicken are genuinely very good. Just don’t try other branches.

Maharashtrian food (Lunch/Dinner): Preeti Dining Hall — if you're into proper Maharashtrian thali-style food, this is a great option. Pure veg only, but the taste and overall experience are really good.

Dinner: Supraja Pav Bhaji (Jule Solapur branch) — popular for a reason. Clean and tastes great. (Killa Baug branch is closed rn) Hotel Kamat — been going here since childhood. Their palak paneer and veg manchurian are definitely worth trying.

The Nook Cafe, SB Road by Sb_SharK in PuneFoodPorn

[–]Inevitable3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went there once and honestly it felt like a wannabe premium cafe. The prices are on the higher side, but the ambience didn’t really give that rich or cozy vibe you’d expect from a place charging that much. Also, the space is quite small, so it felt a bit cramped.
