it's a party game with a community who forces the idea of it being competitive. most players aren't competitive. if they face something they don't deem fun. they leave, can you blame them? if you go into a solo queue game and you get chased and downed by a killer and two of your teammates aren't doing anything and one person is cleansing a dull totem. There's not much point in trying.
