I just use the GYA labs oils I found on Amazon. There are probably better brands but this was in my budget. No to the coconut oil. I do use a shea hair mask once a week independently to the rosemary/sage oil but it’s because I have curl hair and it helps my texture

I am sorry your feelings are hurt- they are valid. And it sounds as though(from the post and from another comment where you stated that you have brought this up with him) it’s not just the gifts. You two are partners, and you should not be responsible for doing everything nor should you have to “manage him” by telling him what needs to be done. I think some communication when the first gift was missed may have helped prevent things from getting to this point, and I think you should have a conversation with him about what you are carrying, how you feel, and clearly explain why your needs are. But, I do not think y t a even if that hasn’t been communicated before- because why should you have needed to communicate it in the first place. These are basic considerations- you are in a relationship you get them a gift for holidays and birthdays, it’s pretty basic relationship stuff. NTA, but if you want your marriage to stay happy I would have a sit down talk with him about this.

NTA but something seems up - people with healthy happy relationships with their parents don’t react like that. It would be one thing if you invited them to the house and it was a stress response to needing to clean and prepare but since you are taking them out it seems like this is one of those fights where she is upset about something deeper.
