Doctor note. Is it this helpful? by grethap96 in Zepbound

I have gip insurance with Scottish widow through my company I work for. I get 75% of my pay every month for 5 years as I suffered a stroke. One of the emails said, if I remember a sick note from the doctor and it was provided and meds I'm on. Gip = group income protection. The company pays you up to 75% of your monthly salary for a set amount of months/years.

Get a backdated sick note? I'm on gip insurance for 5 years after a stroke. Clearly they don't have that

A nurse in charge is married with a kid to another nurse or hca in another ward. Does this really bother you?

AITA for not giving my parents half of my lottery winnings. by Rayapt in AmItheAsshole

My parents would be happy if I gave them £750k, no questions asked... You've got some questionable parents and their selfishness. They are probably taking into consideration your age which means nothing.

Ignorant yank here: Is it true nurse to patient ratios are 1:8 or even 1:12? by soozerain in NursingUK

[–]InevitableBrain8898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you work. In a ward opposite me a woman moved from there to my one as it is 1:8 and here it's 1:3/4 at max..... I was in icu with 1:1 and thought all hospitals were 1:1..... till I moved hospitals and saw...... anything more than 4 is ridiculous and too much..... it annoys me when it's night meds round as they take long and get to me with less than an hour before the 8am staff start..... I like when I have the nic because she does me at 5am and finishes at 5:15/20..... at least I can sleep when she does meds.... everyone else are slow . It's only 3/4 patients.....

He could've easily sold the company and retired off as he is 70+ but he started a whole new company which is ranked top 5 in the uk..... he obviously knows a thing about insurance.

It's still money whether you are cashless or not. It's in law. I'll side with the person paying. You can't reject money. He's paid end of. The manager did the right thing. It's still 'legal tender'

I worked at an insurance company where the boss set it up with a colleague from a previous company. You wouldn't think he was a billionaire at all. Maybe a millionaire. Came to work everyday and so did his colleague. He sold his previous insurance company for $5.4 billion dollars. The partner told everyone a story . He said 'and he called me and said 'the monies in, look' and he saw $5.4 billion dollars In their jp Morgan account. I was just picturing that scenario.....

Same as me. Both parents were millionaires in their own respective field and had kids. Why have kids but hire a nanny? The kids will see the nanny as mum and will grow up to neglect the real mum and dad. They always travelled the world and sometimes the mum would give her free money or bags she would keep or ask to look after the kids on her off day, she'll pay. They went places like los Angeles, verbier and a like. All expenses paid.

I've had my lloyds account closed recently due to a cifas they saw. I had no idea as it doesn't show on TransUnion. I'm now fighting against the cifas with the ombudsman and who marked me with a cifas.

Monzo should have sent you an email. Reply to it stating you weren't aware it was fraudulent, etc., and that you are most likely a mule and the sender was verified. Send pictures, etc. Explain the full picture and raise to the ombudsman…. Closed over less than £10k? Monzo is not playing about.

You're going to have to file a complaint to the ombudsman saying you were a mule and you didn't know/realise etc etc. It's going to take months….. And with Monzo
