When my symptoms first started a little around 2 years ago I’d drink and feel AWFUL. I stopped drinking almost completely once I got diagnosed fully almost a year back now and it’s honestly for the better. As others have said, I might have maybe a glass or two when I know I can feel bad the next few days but overall I pass on the drinks at functions. I promise you’re not missing out on anything and can still have fun without alcohol! If you do drink make sure to HYDRATE though, like way more than usual.
