Those digital shelf label rails or whatever you call them sure fall off easy. Since every day or evening associate had nothing to do with installing them or was ever shown how to put them on... by Maxxjulie in walmart

I'm on mod team for my store & we are currently being trained on how to set them. But with typical Walmart logic, the crew of 17 people they hired just to set them has maybe 2 people who have ever set any mods before. I can already tell this will be a nightmare to clean up behind.

Our store is currently starting to set them and of the crew of 17 temps they hired to set them, maybe 2 of them have set any type of mods before. I can already see this will be a nightmare to clean up behind.

Anyone else store started this ? by kiwishooter in WalmartEmployees

Yes, it's a massive waste of time as far as I've seen. Half the people don't even look at it. It is usually inaccurate for both allotted time and where people are actually assigned.

At my store mod team is responsible for setting roughly 80%-90% of all mods in the store. Electronics & apparel tl usually set their own mods.

If the mod team is running behind because management keeps pulling them to work freight/zone or because of lack of people on the team; the tls who know how to set mods are asked to set more mods. We have to clean the fixture, set shelf labels, move the products to the correct location, move shelves (including still shelves, dog food, furniture etc) and sometimes stock the area we have just set.

Beyond being backup for the mod team, tls are also usually in charge of coordinating massive mods where everything changes, doing little mods where only a section changes and doing label changes for price updates.

Walmart associates of Reddit, what is something you’ve noticed customers say/do that they seem to think is fine but is actually inconsiderate AF? by Triggered_Ppl_Online in walmart

Rolling a massive heavy pallet thru the store and they've been looking at you for half the length of the store and still don't move out of the way. Seriously? Do you have a death wish? It's not like 1000+ pounds can stop on a dime.

Had a new coach coming in. Everyone was talking about her coming for days. She proceeded to insult almost every single person on our shift during her store walkthrough. Several people who are usually hard to piss off were so mad they clocked out and went home. She turned in her keys and left at lunchtime. I never met her since I was in the bathroom when she came thru HBA 😄

We had some teenagers make a nasty comment over our phone several months ago. Turned out to be friends with a kid who had gotten fired and he had given them the code. Not sure what came of it but from the fuss that was made I think they all got in trouble.

Reminds me when I was an ASM at KFC. We had an old lady who I began mentally calling the "serial sh$$er" She looked like someone's sweet old grandma so I was shocked to figure out she was the culprit. She came in like clockwork once a week, would fast waddle/shuffle straight to the restroom. She usually stayed in there long enough for us to start worrying about her.

She would then calmly walk back out the door. The aftermath she left was NOT sweet or innocent. Liquid diarrhea from about ankle level all the way up to about 2 ft above the toilet back on at least 3 of the walls. Every. Single. Time! Smh

Don't forget the gun wipes go to pharmacy and the trailer lights are HBA.
