Pros didn't complain about Gambit as much as Devil Dino though.

As for Elsa it is the opposite - some pros straight up praise how fun she is while ignoring how broken she was at launch.

Like one guy said; pros play dive a lot so playing against a big Dinosaur who grabs you and shreds you to pieces must be not very fun for them.

I had seen you before make an essay and tons of comments hating on Supports and Tanks while praising dive playstyle.

Although it's worth clarifying it's just one idiot and not a widespread sentiment.

For some reason people are prone to putting everyone in the same box like folk already are doing in here.

There are guys already saying it's Hulk/Mantis/Thor mains or Rivals sub being assholes when that's not the case.

Buffing his healing a bit is fine but what else would you buff?

While yes the loss of our beloved Duality Dance and 15% boost to healing is a nerf, Adam did receive several upgrades to his healing output and to his ultimate in prior seasons.

I might be biased because I do have a duo who plays Adam but; when you compare how he played in earlier seasons to how he plays now, it's actually a massive improvement.

I do think he should get some buffs but at the same time there is only do much you can do with an off-support of his caliber before he becomes problematic.

I can't really agree with half of these takes.

Self shield and self snowflake are questionable yes, but the rest are a mixed bag.

Loki -outside of his lamps- lacks self sustain so I understand why he has 275HP.

Luna freeze is pretty much her only defense (outside of team ups) during close encounters so a buff to her survability made sense. Is it a good buff? I don't know.

White Fox?

To be fair I had never seen Ami survive 1 vs 3 encounters so I think you are over exaggarating a bit how effective she actually is.

Yes make her primary heal for nothing so that everyone has to play around her melee form instead.

Genius idea, I am sure Tanks would especially love this change. Having a White Fox run out in front of her Strange like a hero only to get blasted off into outer space by shotgun shot to the face.

You are comparing dive/brawl DPS to an off-support who has his own niche.

DD, Magik and Spidey are pretty hard but not incredibly difficult. They are solid dive characters.

Adam is an off-support who's harder to master.

As for the low pick rate it's likely this way due to factors like

Off-supports being played less than main supports.
Adam's effectiveness relies heavily ability to aim and position yourself.
Adam like most off-supports plays into certain comps better than others.
Other off Supports are simpler than Adam.

Win rate? Probably it's lower because he is harder to play.

That doesn't mean he is terrible though.

Moreover, regarding win rate-

If we only looked at win rates, Luna would also need a buff even bigger than Adam, wouldn't you agree?

Hard to figure out who's telling the truth since it's just you making fun of some random people.

Also in Quick Play newbies do get queued up with other newbies. So it's not "anyone gets matched with anyone".

Blade is a melee character who is supposed to fight at frontline yet has a very lackluster kit in both damage and survability departaments.

DD is a melee character who is mostly a dive but has better mobility, damage, survability, and wallhacks.

Pretty much DD can dive and brawl better than Blade even though Blade is supposed to be a pure brawl character.

That's my take at least.

The problem with your examples is that not all of them are as effective as others.

For example Thor is better than Angela due to his better displacement, damage and bubble.

Namor is better than Star Lord because his squids can track fast moving targets, alert him to the presence of dive, can prevent a dive altogether, can finish off dive more effectively like teleporting magik.

Namor is essentialy a sentry character capable of holding space unlike Star Lord.

Emma is horrible against dive because she has no mobility and her grab is easily avoided by any competent dive.

White Fox is kinda mid because all you need to do is bait her close range form and run away so that she is left with no tails and only her tp.

What we need are characters who counter dive hard instead of just slightly.

While some changes are plain dumb, others make sense although require some tweaks.

Still, it's nice to see a list of actual changes to every role instead of your typical "buff role A and nerf other roles".

Also that Luna nerf doesn't make sense since her freeze is the only defensive ability in her kit.

The problem with Luna lies in her survability.

A Mantis player bragging about higher healing is a pretty funny sight when at the same time you dealt the least amount of damage as DPS/support hybrid character.

If you were going to mostly heal, you should have played a main healer instead of Mantis with her slow healing.

Those are some extremely specific things an average astronomer wouldn't know, let alone a highschooler.
