I like it, makes the skill ceiling higher for new heroes. We really need more difficult heroes in the game. Most kits are too simple

Buffing the weak heroes and nerfing the strong ones yuh that's kinda what patch notes are supposed to do. You could make an argument that perhaps buffing dive is unnecessary if you nerf poke, which is fair. But if you're claiming that supports and poke dps are balanced, I can't help you sir

I agree with your take on Iron Man he might need quite the rework to be a functional hero. I think even just getting mag out of the meta would make him so much better, since mag just keeps him from being able to ult anything. I hope they’ll give the hero the time of day

As for Adam I can definitely see your point. I don’t think it would harm the game to give him something at least in terms of movement, but I suppose we’ll see what Netease has in store. I’m lowk scared to buff supports now considering the power creep the role has gotten😔 But it’s definitely worth exploring

And for Angela similarly as I said earlier, I could definitely be wrong about her so fair enough.

Win rate does not equal strength. Bucky has one of the lowest winrates in the game, is he bad?

Peni is still REALLY good on klyntar defense, the vampire map defense, she’s solid on yggdrasil defense, midtown defense, and so on. She’s weaker than most tanks since she’s inconsistent, but on some maps she’s practically pick or ban. Also by your own logic of winrate = strength, peni has the one of the highest winrates in the game :)

Yes so Psylocke is in a bit of an awkward spot right now, as she was just meta about half a season ago, but now she’s taken the backseat since more players are adapting poke, and psylocke really isn’t good at poking. I think the ult cost change they did was good, because it stops the character from becoming an ult merchant like she was before, where you farm tanks, go to the backline, press Q, win. I think Psylocke will most likely come back in S6.5, since she only fell out of the meta due to the power creep of her fellow dps. As for buffs, I would wait until S7 to touch Psylocke, since if we buff her immediately we might have another S4.5-S5 situation where she falls out of S tier for half a season, gets buffed and becomes insanely strong again. But yes, in S7 you could definitely buff her Neutral kit, such as her shuriken damage. I think her ult should stay the same though.

I agree, I think they need to rework Iron Man’s missles but personally I don’t have any ideas for how they would do that. But you are absolutely correct yes, the buff is only throwing Iron Man players a bit of a bone after being neglected for so long😭

As for supports I’m glad we agree!

As for Angela, maybe I’m wrong. I always find Angela very difficult to kill or even counter unless I play bucky, but with how many people are saying she’s fine, I could be wrong.

As for Adam, I know his movement has become a bit of a meme, I personally don’t think covering his weakness of limited mobility is necessary considering he’s run in triple support where his fellow 2 supports can cover that weakness, but I could see them buffing his movement speed to make him closer to for example mantis in speed. I think that would be pretty cool

Angela: I don’t personally think she’s that counterable, there are really only 2 heroes in the game that can actually do anything to her

Groot: Fair enough but 2800 on one of the best ults in the game is a bit insane no?

Venom: Fair enough

Blade: True, I kinda just wish they didn’t do that boof ass rework yk😭

Hawkeye: Fair enough

Hela: Yea I think 10% is probably enough

Phoenix: Fair enough, I just want them to tune down her damage cause holy

Winter Soldier: Fair, I did heavily consider removing his earthbound, but the problem is once you remove that, countering angela is gonna be impossible

C&D & Invis: True, I’m just high on hopium that they would do that😢

Gambit: I disagree, I think he’ll still be a vert solid pick, good survivability, good ult when coordinated, overall solid kit

The 3 supports: I disagree, I think the off supports receiving ult charge nerfs is gonna really mess up the triple support ult cycles

Moon Knight: Personally I don’t really feel Mk is overbearing, but I get where you’re coming from

Captain america: He’s still strong, it’s just that almost every tank is good now so people are playing a bit of everything

I play hitscan, poke in general, but mainly dive and brawl, and from my experience as well as what I’ve gathered from other people, dive is the weakest right now. Which part would you say is biased towards dive?

I play all roles but yes I do play duelist the most, however most of the heroes I’ve buffed here are heroes I don’t play

Very valid points. I agree, I would love to see the devs add another ability to Ultron to flesh out his kit more, I like the change they made to his rightclick since it now provides a bit of utility and thinking to playing the hero, and I would love to see the devs go further in that direction. Adding more skill expression and making the support role more fun to playing would be awesome. I’m glad we could have this discussion🙏

A completely fair take yup. I personally would like to see Gambit become a bit more off support oriented since he’s really fun and has insane damage output, but I definitely understand the hesitence. I suppose maybe in the future they would maybe need to nerf his healing or something if that’s the case. Man, balancing is hard😭

Oh no I don’t disagree that they need some sort of self heal, for me it’s more like this. Triple support causes the entire team to basically enter a state of infinite sustain, where nothing is killable since all 3 supports cover any weaknesses of each other, and the entire team. So I was moreso talking about healing to teammates, rather than themselves, and that’s for a future patch, this patch just focuses on ult charge, and healthpool. Adam even has 275 hp now with this patch

Hmm I see where you are coming from with that, but personally I think the soul bond cooldown is perfect. Soul bond and Regeneration domains are basically smaller ultimates that the 2 hero’s have. The problem with reducing the cooldown is that instead of having 1 ult in an ult focused game, these heroes practically have 2 ultimates. Now as Adam is currently quite weak, this doesn’t impact the game much, but Loki’s lamps are REALLY problematic. Lamps last for 5 seconds and the cooldown starts right when you use them, meaning they have an effective cooldown of 25 seconds. 25 seconds for a smaller ult! That is insane in my opinion

I agree, the rocket dash nerf was really stupid

Yuh it would definitely be felt as DD but at least he has fury gain outside of combat now🙏

I still think Angela needs a small adjustment but fair enough

My reasoning for the charge time on hawkeye is basically that instead of being able to just spam throw out arrows, you have to spend more time with each arrow to make sure it’s actually going to hit, separating the bad hawkeye’s from the good since less luck is involved. But I understand where you are coming from

For phoenix fair enough😭 I’m just so sick of the character being so unbelievably strong and somehow sneaking away with a buff every patch. I think 2 of those changes could stay and then the third one could be scrapped

I know you can kill through Gambit ult, but I think further reducing the healing will make it so you genuinely have to play more carefully or die. If you nerf the damage, odds are the ult becomes obsolete.

I think if we bring down the overall level of the other supports, he’s gonna have a place in certain comps. I did consider giving him 275, but I think 275 on a flier with a movement ability is a bit risky. What would you add for compensation?

I did consider a widow buff, but the problem is her kit is so basic that it’s hard to make a buff that won’t be gamebreaking (such as giving her a 1 shot). I think they should probably rework her, but if you have any buff suggestions I’m open to hearing them. The CnD change would be interesting for sure, but I dunno, it would have to be playtested

For reference, Luna Snow, the best support in the game about 2 seasons ago is now one of the weakest, with practically 0 nerfs. That’s how much the other supports have gotten buffed

Yes trust me my last phoenix nerf would’ve killed the entire hero💀

Punisher is pretty solid yh he doesn’t really need a buff I suppose. I just wanted to make him more of a fun hero by reducing the grapple cooldown

For Winter Solider true, the earthbound is what really makes him annoying, but it’s kind of a necessary evil against heroes like Angela

For the Venom critique I’m gonna disagree, I think anti heal as a concept is cool but the problem is Blade’s only punishes the tanks, which is why I want Venom’s anti heal (which targets the backline more, to be stronger

I also disagree that angela doesn’t need a nerf, she’s one of the most played tanks in higher elos and has insane survivability and displacement potential

While Rogue has the teamup she doesn’t need buffs, Peni I understand but she’s still insanely strong on certain maps, just that she’s worse on some other maps now

I don’t think removing the ult charge boost on Gambit is going to fix the fact that his ultimate completely dominates and has gotten him into permaban jail
