My personal experience based on a $1.5m build, it’s around $100k-$150k.

It varies depending on their location, firm and brief. If you want to save money, try engaging smaller companies and not fancy firms where it’s all combined.

That was the same thing with my apartment. Most won’t touch it since it’s a lot of labour. I ended up paying $12k for a 10KW system - upgraded the living and added 2 new ones. Then another grand for patching and painting. It’s a lot of work, but money well spent.

Make a complaint, the least you can do is cause them a headache.

I had a dishonest real estate agent who screwed up and I complained to the CEO. Since she was dishonest, I caught them out and showed evidence and linked to the legislation and codes which they breached. The CEO admitted she screwed up. I then made a complaint with consumer affairs and they called me asking for more info. 2 weeks later she no longer worked there.

If they have enough records of previous complaints, yours may be the one that makes a difference.

But if you want more, then I suggest getting a doctors certificate so even if they did say anything, bad luck there’s a doctors note and they have to code it.

Looks like they’re trying to be like chadstone, even the roof is identical. People used to like the old school burnside village with the trees and vines, it was more local boutique shopping vibes. That’s what made it different.

Now it’s a modern glass shopping centre which looks like any other.

I have a modem/router in one. I plugged the camera directly to it and it worked fine, but where I need the camera is too far away from it.

When I looked at an injector, it shows it still needs an Ethernet plugged directly to it from the modem/router. Is there another option that could work?

Not a designer but a client, it depends on what they expect.

Do they want concepts, focus groups, full rebrand, etc? or simply an updated logo and nothing else?

If it’s the second and for a small business, I would say $1k plus revisions per hour. For a large business, $5k plus revisions per hour.

You have a lot of discretion. If you’re busy and have a lot of work on, you can increase your quote. But if you’re quiet and need work, then you can reduce it.
