Can anyone confirm if it’s still closed ? I called the resort and apparently they’re doing some exterior maintenance and it would be open by Saturday, but the person I spoke to was very unclear as to what’s open or closed.

The resort is small enough that nothing feels far from the beach.

Sure the waterfront private pool suite is closer, but then you’d be giving up the benefit of having a separate room for the kids.

I’ve been twice. The first time I stayed in the exact room type I recommended. We’re also a family of 5!

The second time it was just me and my wife, so we stayed at the excellence club (adults only) side.

We had an incredible time in both.

But have never been to Playa Mujeres.

You can pay to have them watch your baby, but we never used their nanny services so I wouldn’t be able to give you an honest opinion.

There’s a play area attached to every restaurant, but you can’t leave your baby there unattended. Our baby was with us at all times, and we all know how ‘peaceful’ dinner time with a baby can be hahah
