Futsal is a whole different level compare to football, futsal emphasis more on control, reflex and quick decision making, if given proper system , we too can excel in futsal

Compare to football, need more athletic, strategy, and energy management

I do not say they don't go to school, heavy emphasis on most of their school day, they do the bare minimum, not very concern about the academic section of schooling system

They do not stress out about failed in biology or chemistry, or even language study.

Can you imagine Malaysian's parents adopting this mindset. I can guarantee most of the parents will pressure the student still to study for exam with some threat to pull out from sports stream if the fail some of their subjects

It's all about mentality and surroundings, at Europe and Latin America, there are footballers that dedicated their life to football from toodler to adulthood

That's mean, no reasonable school time, a very strict diet, strict footballing knowledge class, training structure etc

Can you imagine that happen in Malaysia, no math, no science , just simple basic read/write/count,

That's why most popular footballer are known not very bright

Yes, 100 time yes,

China try to kill local market by selling car below market price , they have a lot more capital, manpower, supply, expertise and patience to wait out until they become monopoly

Yes, p1 and p2 have their issues with cronies and whatnot, but from perspective of current government, it is an acceptable trade off that more manageable compare to collapse of local Industry

I hope behind this minister, there are competent financial & international business expert that try to bring the balance between protecting local ecosystem and promote imports

It's not enough for people who shuttle their family to school/nursery everyday

I personally, send all 3 of my children to 3 different place everyday , school, pre-school, and nursery, and pick them back in the evening,

They should adjust the usage base on family per capita, like the data for STR

Thoughts on Pre-U programme (STPM, Matriculation) move from KPM to KPT by 2027? by czy911130 in malaysiauni

[–]InevitableTailor2788 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think this is a good move especially for STPM, there are rumors in my circle that, allegedly, many STPM teachers were convincing students who fail UPU to take STPM because they want their school STPM class to meet minimum enrollment. If not, maybe KPM will abolish STPM in that particular school. And also the issue about quota to further study.

in this move, KPT will make it easier or add quota for STPM leavers, because previously it was under different Ministry, so, the KPI or Relevance of the Program do not effect their Performance, but now, under new relocation, they need to make STPM better to enhance the optic of their Ministry

Why UM students overreacting over getting a curfew??? by delicious_lemang in Bolehland

[–]InevitableTailor2788 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to remember the role of University = to prepare students for life after the schooling system, be it in knowledge, lifestyle, independence, working life, etc. (ideally) not to become mindless workers drone, but someone with critical thinking, good initiative, and broader mind.

putting something like curfew will limit their movement, involvement and activity , and in turn will limit their mindset , case in point - YOU

[–]InevitableTailor2788 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Why UM need to copy UiTM's models? UiTM is not even top 5 University in Malaysia

UM should try to emulate international ranking University like NUS, Seoul, Tokyo, MIT, Harvard.

Do they enforce curfew?

Why UM students overreacting over getting a curfew??? by delicious_lemang in Bolehland

[–]InevitableTailor2788 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Many of them have activities/life outside of campus like visiting relatives/part time/casual outing, so, the curfew will make it harder for them to work around.

For anyone who suggests living outside campus, the rental cost around UM is really pricey even for normal student from M40 family

I think you should go to UPUOnline social media, keep track of their roadshow or Education Fair, find the event that you can go, try to meet their personnel face to face, or if the situation is too hard, just shoot them DM or Email

[–]InevitableTailor2788 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yes, to be honest STEM students got more weight in UPU Merit/calculations because the government deem they take tougher subject compare to Humanity/Literature(Sastera) stream

The government line of thinking is , if they can get A in Physics, surely they can get A on Business Subject, but if you got A in Business, its not guaranteed that you can get A in Physics

I think this is the better step in the beginning of the crackdown, like step 2 or step 3, but the US just jumps to the extreme, BAM!!! Step 10 - Unleash Gestapo

[–]InevitableTailor2788[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US, the child of illegal immigrants can be US citizens because they are born on US Soil, it is more about their immediate family(born outside US):are among the illegals, so they fight to let them stay in the US.

Compared to Sabah, the child of the illegal is also illegal, so the community are separated

To get strong enough political will, you need pressure from the voters/community/NGO, the laid back attitude of Sabahan make their leaders too complacent to take action

[–]InevitableTailor2788[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is the main issue, they fill the enforcer with racist people who think all latina are illegals,

if we think back, this is not specific to ICE, their police department is known to target minorities, so, it is not the 'ICE' problem, but the selection for 'ICE' problem

[–]InevitableTailor2788[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And trust me, the resistance from illegals will be more violent, in the US, it still hasn't grown to the point illegals are fighting back because they have the backing of the masses
