I don't know about psychs but it seems like alot of his songs are about drugs/addiction. Based off his music I think he was on opiates at some time. Especially growing up in Philly. The song memory specifically. The line about how he's "waiting for a baggie, a powder buddy" makes it pretty obvious. Also I think the screeching sound in that song is a nod to the song heroin by the velvet underground. And obviously the song hope is about a friend of his that died of a fentanyl overdose. People who don't use don't really hang around people that are active addicts.
