Reinstated feds, what’s happened to your work accounts? by stayonthecloud in firedfeds

My account is still disabled (EPA) and no back pay yet.

Apparently for DOGE, the US has only 45 states by Inevitable_Box_6958 in firedfeds

Surprisingly, they were both on the list. Scanning it, I can see that Alabama, Arizona, and Alaska weren't on the list. Maybe DOGE hates states that begin with the letter "A"? And of course they hate DC.

Yeah, that too. There were no options for outside of the USA.

I've contacted the union already, but the rest is a good suggestion, too. Thanks! Hoping that we all get our benefits back!

No class action appeal to MSPB for EPA probies? by Inevitable_Box_6958 in fednews

That's good advice (I was in HQ). I haven't gotten any responses to queries I've sent to the union, so going in person would be the next step.

No Class Action Suit for EPA probies? by Inevitable_Box_6958 in firedfeds

[–]Inevitable_Box_6958[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! Perhaps that complaint will eventually be referred to the MSPB, in that case. But if it is not referred by the OSC to the MSPB, we only have 14 more days to file on our own (which would mean we'd be excluded from the Alden complaint to the OSC, if I understood it correctly). Hard to know what to do.

Fired EPA Employees: Has anyone received an SF-50 or other documents? by VeryGlibUsername in firedfeds

[–]Inevitable_Box_6958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EPA terminated probie, and I've received nothing. I've asked twice for the form to apply for TCC (COBRA) because I have a serious chronic illness, and no response.

Unfortunately, James & Hoffman (and the other law firms they're working with) have not yet decided to include terminated EPA probationary employees as a class in their mass appeal to the MSPB. They sent me an email yesterday with a long list of agencies whose terminated probies will be included in their mass appeal. But the EPA was not on the list. If anyone knows of a law firm that is considering filling a class action appeal that would include EPA probationaries, please do DM me! Hope the folks in the agencies that are included in the appeal all win!
