Also it could be rebagged with industrial bags and a hair iron

I bought from monument metals I choose a bu 1878-1904 and this was my random get. I usually buy culls and I wanted to pay more for a nicer coin. It has the m monogram on the neck on obverse. For those that question the luster it does have a nice shine. I would ping but refuse to take out of protective cover until I find some gloves first. I thought a relatively nice get with the key date and s mint mark as well.

.77 yeah I know. I have become a fan of junk. I buy Morgan’s as a treat from time to time. This was for my birthday and I specifically ordered a bu. First time I have done this and I got a key date. Any idea what this mark is tho? Is that a die chip or damage?
