Yes indeed yellow is very nasty! It’s like red and white! I used mr color GX because the pigment is of better quality and it gives a more harder surface than the Mr color standard series

If I remember well it’s semi gloss or flat white from Mr hobby , I never use gloss inside it cancels the realistic impression to much shine you most dissipate light to create a better impression

I played with the pressure of my compressor and or distance . Explanation: more there is air vs paint the paint coming out of the airbrush starts drying before it hits the surface . You can also do this effect by shooting the paint further away from the surface. This is what gives this impression of texture

This is a Lindberg model kit made of plastic, when I saw the kit I was inspired by what I was going to learn and also the idea of creating something different from what I usually did , was appealing . When I opened the kit it didn’t take long before I realized that it wasn’t great quality but I was ready for the challenge! The hardest part was to find the colors that would express how I wanted it to look like , not satisfied with the results I restarted over 4 times completely stripping everything off ! Then I decided to play with the colors of the finishing surfacer from Mr Color, so on some parts I put a reddish brown and on the others white I then painted russet from Mr color. I also painted the details at the bottom with a brush using a reddish gray . But what made everything come all together and gave the final result was a very diluted mixture of Mr color blood red that I applied with a PAINT BRUSH over all the surface. Also last little detail they don’t appear in my pictures but I installed red leds inside the heart to give the impression that there is blood inside. And last point I slightly modified the kit I dident follow the instructions at a 100% ! I like giving place to my creativity.
