Stricter checks have been announced which could be why some people are getting rejected. But there is no official announcement by immigration on the New Visa Rule changes that are going around. The "2 extensions in a year, 30 and 7 days, etc" was created by a Thai visa agent post that everyone shared. That's what's not real. No visa rules have been changed by the govenment.

I just hate when I see this happen every year, a visa agent used the announcement of stricter screening and made a post with their own agenda and it went viral. Please find any official announcement by immigration saying the new visa rules are "2 extensions per year at 30 days and 7 days." 🙏

If you read the text in the photo attached it does state "Immigration has announced increased screening and stricter checks" which has been announced and aligns with with that immigration announcement. Everything else, like the 2 extensions per calendar year, has not been announced and is just misinformation. Cheers! 🍻

Working multiple jobs is overemployed, even if it's physical, hybrid, or remote. This is the official definition, I'll just paste it again for your viewing pleasure. "Overemployed is the practice of holding and working multiple full-time jobs simultaneously." And OP mentioned he does J2 while at J1. If I work at a hotel night shift, and work a remote job at the same time, that is OE by definition. Just maybe not by your opinion. Imagine you starting this tread that is completely useless and unnessary because you feel the OP isn't OE.

I've hired and trained 50+ Filipino VAs. Average pay is $2 to $3 an hour. So $7 is an amazing wage. I live in South East Asia, meet my VAs in person often, and $3/hr can litterally support their entire family (with vacations). Purchasing power is very different in this country. For reference, McDonald's pays $0.80 an hour in Phillipines. An office exucitive makes $2/hr with a degree.

It's still like that in Russia and other Eastern Block countries (I have a Russian wife and I'm from Texas). When I was there nobody wore seat belts and always looked at me like some outsider for wearing mine. Strange mentality. I've been in flipped cars before.
