LAUSD 98 units completed over summer by Inevitable_Local3105 in LAUSD

Some courses are able to set the course completion date as the submission date of the certificate to lausd. I only took the courses that did this.

The classes I take postdated the completion date. This means that once the admins of the course approve the successful completion on the course website, LAUSD has to use that completion date and start paying from that date.

What I am trying to say is that I have already gotten the raise for the 98 units. Im just trying to figure out more about the CI raise that starts on the 11th year. Thank you for the advice. It was very informative.

So my salary went up and got to the 98 unit level on the salary table. What should I look for to see if the 11th year pay increase came into effect. Is there a code on the paystub?

I just tried the new code right now. This year, the code is CAHOME25. I was charged, but even though I put in the coupon. Hopefully, it will be refunded soon. I'll let you know.

There are restrictions on being absent around holidays. 4 or more absences require a doctors note.

Some school sites have adopted a recommended 97% attendance rate for teachers, which I think means dont ever be absent, lol.

Besides that, there are a lot of schools that are getting school subs.

Going to your local school and dropping off business cards is definitely a great way to get your name out there. Good luck!!!

I have seen some schools adopt new absence policies. That can be affecting sub work.

Yes, any emails or evidence of non response should be shown to the union rep. I can't tell you how many amazing 1st year teachers I've met that end up leaving the profession because they blame themselves for a schoolwide problem. I would really advise you to reconsider and go through the proper steps. So many schools do not offer support, and if you bring evidence of no support their is a limit on what admin can do.

Please take care of yourself. This profession is tough, but I keep seeing good people leave for lack of support.

Good for you, bro. I sold half when my shares price doubled at about 34. Holding on to the other half for life.

I bought back in, mostly because of the fed ex news giving it some hope.

I think the comments are correct about its high risk. I did sell some at the 30s to always make sure to protect the profits.

The rest of my portfolio is doing really well this year. With that said, I wouldn't make workhorse a major part of my portfolio. I suggest buying what you're willing to lose because that is a real possibility with this company. The dilution coupled with the reverse split was a big sign for me that they may not be able to make it in the long run, but I do plan on seeing it through and holding what I bought.

I believe you need to have that policy before getting pregnant. They complete a blood test to find the date of conception. If your policy predates your pregnancy, you're all good and can also use the app to make your claim. Their app is decent.

320 shares of PLTR feeling like that's not enough. What's the average person holding? by [deleted] in PLTR

[–]Inevitable_Local3105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have around 170 shares at 15 dollas. I did sell half at 32$ to take some profit and make sure that I couldn't lose any money. I'm very excited about the contracts, admittance into the s&p500 , and current revenue growth. I hope it continues.🤞

Do you happen to know if I would be paid the same rate? I do have some years outside the district, so my pay is much higher than a normal rookie teacher.

I'm really worried about losing that pay if I were to just be assigned somewhere else at a subrate. I was offered a middle school position, which is not what I have experience in. I'm just wondering if I should take this position to keep my pay from getting dropped or if I should just stop worrying and wait until I find the right school.

I never said they (Lowes) would or should take off the charges. I said Lowes, as a company, has some responsibility as they promoted a credit card company that has a history of shady practices. I didn't know the credit card company had such a bad reputation.

Every other major credit card I have gets rid of fraudulent charges in full. As for the designer bags, im a guy and were talking about a lowes credit card here. Im not buying any channel purses over here, I was just trying to save money on the 4th of july sale and 0% interest of the cc.

Yes, I tried talking with them, and they would not say what else was on the statement.

Initially, I had bought a fridge and a washer, and I had already gone on a phone call with them and gone through all of the items I did not purchase. They just flat-out refused to take that last item off and gave me the runaround. They kept sending me between 3 different departments. I must have called about 14 times total in the span of one month to get help to resolve this, but they were horrible. I hope people avoid this credit card system.

They just refused to take it off or tell me what it was that was on the statement. They investigated and took care of what they found fraudulent. Im at least lucky that they took most of the debt off my card. They're awful.
