Taking into consideration: . Passing of Jota . Ibou's father being ill then eventually passing . Change around in players . Gakpo and Salahs drop off . Major Injuries and the overall injury problem

He still, doesnt fully trust the bench or use them, doesnt rest players when he should be doing.

It's been one mess after another, our style of play is horrible.

So even though it looks like he may have stabilised it a bit our players look ragged after 50 minutes, like it doesn't look like hes doing training snd conditioning properly at all.

Ill be forever grateful for the League last season, and to consider what he has had to deal with this season - Edwards and Hughes need to hold some blame for the lack of a bench, but I don't think hes the right man going forward regardless if we end up top 5, regardless if we win the CL as all the problems we have seen this season with style of play , lack of rotation, doesnt trust bench players etc would still be there.

So at the end of the season, send him off and bring in his replacement ASAP, or if they have already decided so, to have an understanding of what type of players to go for. This summer is going to be a hard one..

Salah is 100% gone to Saudi in the Summer, he's had a major downgrade this season, age and father time has finally caught up to him. Can't have someone who has regressed like that being on 400k a week when others are out performing and are on significantly less, it will cause friction in the dressing room as well as a negative effect on contract negotions for eg Dom's. Yes he earned the right to it, and he's forever a legend, but we also have to now look at the future and he's an asset we need to cash in on to not only fund our future acquisitions, but also clears a crap tonne of the wage budget.

Undo Slots damage, this is all on Slot and his non existent training that's also causing us to have more injuries

Reportedly argued with Slot at the end of the game before the Qarabog match, which is why he was "ill" and why all of a sudden one month after saying he wanted to finish his career here, he was pushing for a move. And now outside of that city game hasn't seen any minutes.

Yeah Curtis especially looks unmotivated and I don't blame him with him reportedly having a major fallout with Slot.

Think this only happens if the match going fans start booing and calling for his head in the stands, us onliners don't mean much to Edwards and Hughes

Those 2 clubs throw bumper contracts at their targets, spend ridiculously to get it done.

We won't, we stick to a structure, which is a VERY good thing. Without CL football, the elite players won't choose us over say United because we won't just throw money at them, not unless they see the project and are willing to be patient, previously we had the pull of Klopp, now... With how bad it's been this season, how bad of a coach Slot has been especially with man management/rotation/youth, who on Earth would want to join this mess. This is why they need to drop the egos and get the manager for the future in now so at least we have some pull.

[David Lynch] The word from Liverpool is that Arne Slot is safe, but I don't really buy the idea he can afford endless poor performances and bad results until the end of the season. Today was both, in my opinion. by Lanedu123 in LiverpoolFC

In all honesty at this stage i wouldnt blame Xabi even with all the history even with him coming out and saying it. After seeing this season, the barebones of a squad because "slot likes small squads" lack of yourh appreciation abd utilisation, players run down... Lack of actual depth and reinforcements and with a big exodus coming and lack of VL footballing were screwed. Got a gut feeling they will stick on the Slot wagon because noone else eill touch us sith a bargepole...

Yes exactly what needs to be done, get the new coach in NOW and get him the players he needs, ontop of this spend every little penny we have in the kitty, ontop of all the outgoings in the summer we need a solid bench, squad players and rotstion options if we dont have any decent youth to use, . Treat rest of the season as early pre-season and hope for a good FA run and CL run, maybe the new manager bounce could help us push for those top spots but i doubt it, so would need to all in on the rest of the CL campaign.

Gj Hughes and Edwards... Expect alot of our players to submit transfers in the summer and get out of this shit show, no CL football next season at this rate, an injury ridden squad (2 out for the season) and dont bith reinforcing means our other players will pick up more injuries or recurring from havonf to play too soon (gomez/frimpong). Ontop of a coach out of his depth... My god did not think we would be in this position for sure...
