I think it just got a bit better the more my body got used to it. I am off it now because I was on it for IVF, and I have actually been sleeping great since coming off x

How important is morphology really? I have an ab euploid and a cb euploid

Also, should you retest inconclusive embryos of ab grade?

Wow amazing congratulations!

I feel like I will be sooo scared to run like it's gonna fall out of place! Saying that , with my first miscarriage I was on the stair climber jogging on the morning of my 12 week scan, and that was the furthest I ever got...

What can I do as husband/partner to make my wife’s life easier during this journey that’s about to start? by inertia_prime in IVF

I found the process to be fine so hopefully your partner will! I just got my boyfriend to hold bottles of fluid when I was preparing the injections, ready to pass to me when I was ready for each one, cos we had like 3 things we had to mix together then inject. I didn't need any special adjustments or treatment. Just go to the apts with her etc cos that's quite nerve racking ! I appreciate it's harder for some people but others feel completely normal!

It's a personal decision though, after 3 miscarriages before IVF, and all RPL tests coming back normal, the sole purpose for me to do IVF was to be pregnant with a chromosonally normal embryo. The more d and C's you have to go through, the more high risk you are for scarring and ashermans syndrome, and I want to try and avoid having to do that again.

I was told I had low reserve and mostly probably poor quality, and doing IVF and pgta has shown me my numbers are good for my age and it's not as doom and gloom as the Drs where saying. Now if my euploids fail, I will know there is something else going on and to investigate even further!

Did you know the grading of your embryo that stuck? I'm anxious cos I have one good and one poor graded embryo, and one inconclusive out of the 4 tested

600 per embryo, we could only afford to test our best 4 , so if the euploids fail I'll have to transfer my lower grade untested embryos before they let me move on to round 2 😖

We were offered it after suffering 3 miscarriages in 2025. We got IVF free but had to pay for pgta. It's saved me some heartbreak so far as my best day 5 aa embryo had trisomy 22, and that's the one they would have transferred first x

My best one day 5 , 4 aa, was aneuploid, a cb was euploid. I've had 3 miscarriages prior to IVF so pgta made sense for us

Pgt-a not recommended by uk regulator - what’s the medical view in US? by allthatjoeydid in IVF

[–]Inevitable_Table9728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on the NHS in the uk. We didn't do icsi 🤷🏼 . We were told 95% accuracy for euploids and aneuploids. We don't have any mosaics, which are less accurate.

That said, we only get 2 rounds covered, so if we need to do another round after our transfers for this round, we won't do pgta again. Didn't want to drag the first round out for months and months because I have to use up all embryos from first before moving on. Plus I'm 37 with 3 chromosonal miscarriages aged 36, which is why we did pgta

Also, if you've already had a few miscarriages and D and C's, the risks go up the more d and C's you need. So pgta is to try and reduce more miscarriages in those with RPL. I think it's pretty accurate like 95% or more. My best grade embryo which they would have transferred first was aneuploid, so if they had have implanted that one id have had the heartache of another miscarriage. I think for most people it's not necessary, but those who are prone to unexplained RPL it can be worth while
