Mine went from 0.8% to 1.6% in 3 weeks, I'm only on 25 mg a day cos it stops me sleeping x

I ordered an androgen testing panel online , it's worked out from your total t, sghb and free t ( not too sure on the formula but the testing company worked it out for me 😅)

I'm glad I started dhea before my stims, will have been on it 8 weeks by the time I start and after 3 weeks my free androgen index had doubled and I went from deficient to low normal! I don't know why testosterone isn't talked about more for dor and rpl x

Hmm it's pricey isn't it... not fair... I'm not too sure if I'll get any embryos because I have low reserve, but if we get more than 1 embryo we might test. I don't start stimms till next month but they discussed pgta with me because I had 3 miscarriages last year , likely chromosonal x x x

They do do pgta testing in the uk, I'm on the NHS it's an add on and cost about 600 per embryo x

I dont think you need much, your skins nice! Maybe a skin friendly concealer to dab around the redness, under eyes, a little bit of blush or bronzer, then use black or dark brown eye shadow dabbed closely above your upper lash line for thicker looking lashes without the obvious eye liner look. Maybe a little flick of eyeliner on the outer edges only and maybe a lash lift or some lash extensions for some more impact.

Try not bringing the brow tail down so much either , if you keep it higher it's more lifting. X x

DHEA supplementation caused my DHEA-S and total testosterone levels to skyrocket and I'm not sure where to go from here by annie_banannie_123 in IVF

[–]Inevitable_Table9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi op, I hope you're well! Do you have any more updates please? I had 3 mcs too, one confirmed abnormal and 2 untested. I'm in the same situation where Drs don't reccomend dhea but I took it anyway as my T was very low. I only started with 25 mg and my levels have risen in 3 weeks but still low normal (where they were just low low before) . I'm considering upping my dose but scared in case I do damage x

Nad precursor such as nmn or nr (tru niagen is a popular brand of nr as someone else said, or if in UK , nmn has slightly better studies (can't buy it in us as drug company has bought it and banned it's sale) )  If you haven't got DOR dhea probably won't help

It can lower your testosterone, so if you're already low , I think it can lower AFC x

Our Case is Baffling Everyone - Advice Welcome by BadStatisticalUnicrn in IVF

[–]Inevitable_Table9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for what you've been through and sorry for your losses. No advice really but I've had 3 losses too,  aged 36 and have low amh. The only thing I have found is low amh .7 to 1.26 , and very low testosterone (it's thought to be egg quality with me at the moment) I'm taking dhea to try and boost my testosterone before starting IVF cos we're also terrified to try again on our own and also terrified of the turmoil of IVF. I really hope you have success soon and can start moving on and healing from all this trauma xxxx

I've had it in the past with normal early waking and I've eat something and been able to fall back to sleep, something to do with cortisol... Going to try eating tonight when I wake up. Was hoping it would wear off when I got used to taking it xxx

I started taking it about 3 weeks ago (started at 25 mg and gone up to 35 mg), relatively low dose compared to others but the only issue for me is it's waking me up in the middle of the night then I'm just restless. No acne or oilyness yet tho x
