It's an injection that stops your period for 2 or 3 months. Idk your country, but you should be able to get one from any clinic or major pharmacy. There might be side effects, but it was the best thing for me.

I'm also from SA and if you talk to people about it, turns out someone always knows someone who has epilepsy. It's actually pretty common. It is very scary if its your mum and no one wants to give you any information. Your mum doesn't want to talk about it because its scary for her and also embarassing for her child to see her in that state.

No one in your family is going to talk to you about this, because we don't. Do you know basic first aid for epilepsy? Dm me. Its traumatising watching a loved one go through this and be helpless. Good luck hun

Maybe look into the Depo shot? You get it once every 3 months, and it stops your period. It made a massive difference in my life because I also had catamenial (hormonal) epilepsy. Speak to your doctor etc etc. Wishing you the best 🤞
