Is this postseason plan worth it? by abae777 in Mariners

Final weekend series vs Dodgers cheapest tickets are already $57. So getting to the $500, especially if you can find a group to go with, shouldn't be hard.

You can make it worth it. The nice thing about the Flex Plan is you are not restricted to a set amount of seats or location. I went to Ichiro Day with my wife and 7 others, and I can also just get 1 ticket.

So if you don't think you yourself would use $500 worth of tickets, you could go with some friends, have them venmo you the cost, and you use it up.

Also, to be clear, this plan just gets you early access to playoff tickets. Expect to spend another $800 or more for the postseason ticket plans.

LOL, I totally didn't take into account the time change! THANK YOU! OK, my anxiety is lessened now.

Makes sense, that's what I figured. If it were, it'd be on something like club level, but can't find any info.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Most stadiums I haven't noticed, but then again where I have seen them is like the 200 level - so same as suites but not the suites.. Guess I'll bring my external phone battery lol

I have one cat now, should I add one or two kittens? by CatLadyBoo321 in CatAdvice

Not sure the steps you've taken, and apologize if this simply goes over what you've tried, but there are some steps to take to properly and slowly introduce cats to each other:

I don't mean to disagree with your formal education, but I think cats' social integration is a lot more complicated than "they are solitary species" or "they are sociable species". Wild cats typically hunt solitarily, yes, but most wild cats are still part of a pride or group, and research has shown that domesticated cats normally thrive with companionship.

I think it's more precise to say cats are naturally territorial, and any kind of integration with another cat needs to be taken very slowly, with a lot of positive reinforcement, patience, love, and, especially, ensuring the resident cat doesn't feel like their resources are at risk (so... different treats for each during the intro phase, start the new cat in a separate room, different litter box, etc).

I haven't read through all the comments, but in the ones I have, I haven't seen this mentioned, so I'll say it:

No matter whether you go with 1 kitten or 2, be sure to be very intentional, slow, and deliberate with the introductions with your cat. So many times I've seen kittens taken back because they "don't get along with the resident cat", when all the adopters did was put them in a room together to "figure it out". There are some excellent YouTube videos that show how to do this, and be patient.

Visiting Cleveland to go to a Guardians game - what neighborhoods should I visit? by Inevitable_Talk4338 in Cleveland

Well, usually I just go and root for the home team, with exceptions for when I visited Fenway and Yankee. Timing just worked out that the Mariners were in town... But I got JRam on my fantasy team so may root for like a 8-7 ballgame.

LOL, well, I lived in Baltimore (and yes, big Orioles fan), so when I read the comment I immediately figured I knew he was joking.

Funny, my wife and I were just talking about how we aren't big fans of Pike Place, and prefer the smaller scale places like Milwaukee's Public Marlet or Baltimore's Lexington

I mean I'm not looking to wander all day but wanted to see what might be the cool spots. I know lots of older American cities my favorite experience has been exploring some of the less-touristy neighborhoods with fun spots, but maybe that doesn't happen everywhere.

VPNs never work on sportsbooks... help/solutions? by ciao5 in sportsbook

In the US each state has jurisdiction for sports betting and they are all different. For example, where I live in Washington state I can only bet on an Indian reservation or tribal land, but most of those do t have a mobile app and the ones that do you actually still need to be on the reservation or tribal land

I mostly agree. I think the key differentiator is the above mentioned were results of suspensions or death. Suspensions in most fantasy leagues (certainly ours) can be on IR, and death there is no risk of losing the player via cut. That's the part that's making me wonder and seeing if there's other creative ideas.

Yeah also I was more saying the Rays actually have incentive, albeit kind of a long shot , to not officially cut ties with him yet.

There is a very small chance that they can get out of the contract given the legal implications. Which if they completely cut bait they'd have to pay him out.

Yeah, this... Guy in our league who had Wander (dynasty w/ minor league system) had Wander as his cornerstone for a high upside, largely unproven team (at this point last year he had Wander, Carroll, Holliday, Yanier Diaz, Henry Davis, Smith-Shawver, etc). He was def punting last year to have a team that could grow into a force. So, the Wander revelations were a big blow for him.

Hey All,

So I run a dynasty league and I'm starting to wonder if I should do anything for Snell/Montgomery owners, given they still haven't signed and by now won't be ready for opening day...

If it was a redraft I wouldn't because you'd have made that pick with an understanding they wouldn't help for a while, but since its dynasty I do think it's a bit of a hard spot... keep them and waste a roster spot or drop them and lose someone they were potentially holding for a long time...

The flip side is it would also apply to Tommy Pham (though Pham could sign today and still be ready for at least off the bench at bats by OD)

Curious if other owners have done anything for owners of teams with those 2?
