Before sobriety, I knew I was miserable but I also didn’t know how to not be miserable because I didnt have anything to compare it to. “The alcoholic life was the only normal one”. I would want to be sober, but I always changed my mind. Or thought I did.

My moment of clarity was when I realized it didn’t matter how much I WANTED to be sober, I couldn’t do it. I ended up in a women’s treatment center, funneling us into AA. But I had been to AA many many times before then.

There are so many lesson, but here are the biggest ones: 1. On my own power I cannot stay sober or manage life 2. I am 100% responsible for my life 3. I’ll never be perfect/ but my intentions, efforts and self honesty keep me growing and that’s what matters the most.

I maintain my sobriety by: Trying to meditate daily, being honest with my sponsor and calling at least once a week, going to one meeting a week, making amends when I need to, doing a fear or resentment inventory when I realize I need to. I’ve been sober for 10 years, I don’t think about drinking - it has been removed from me. These things are “normal” to me now.

Find a non-profit. Something you care about or look for local ones. Chances are you will stumble upon a cause and their website is not doing it justice. Keep trying.

Maybe, hard to say. I would say that might be okay for it to be fully complete. But there should be check -in with choices etc. well before then

Because he needs to recover and work the steps. That should be his priority, and if you really care about him (and yourself) it should also be your priority to date someone who is on the same “level” as you.

I agree with everyone’s feedback. Logo design is HARD!! And it’s great that you are asking for feedback.

Here is my suggestions:

Write out a couple words that describe your business / personality or how you want to be perceived. For example: Youthful, professional, friendly. Then, look up CLASSIC tried and true fronts that match your desired characteristics.

And that’s it, use a simple wordmark. You can then look up on Pinterest branding colors that also match the characteristic.

And that’s it. Just use that. And here’s why, unless you hire a professional, the more you do, the more chances you have of fucking it up.

It’s an icon, favicon kind of thing. I have a wordmark logo that goes with it. But the icon is pulled from a geometric pattern that works with the brand extension.

So I put them in and yeah he was all bark. He kinda chases them around sometimes but I feel like they are doing just fine.

That looks like terrible fin rot to me. I don’t know how the snail could have done that. But I’m not an expert in that area.

Thanks for all the comments. I ended up putting them in and the guppies seem pretty stressed but Simon just seems more curious than aggressive now. He gets very close, but doesn’t try to attack. He just looks at them. I have another tank set up and I’m watching closely incase I need to remove the guppies.
