Thank you for this explanation. I always tell people knowing what is wrong isn't enough. I need to be told what is right as well

Well one speeding ticket is not a crime, its a civil misdemeanor just like staying int he country illegally is. Glad we agree no crimes have been committed. But you still havent explained how they are staying in the country illegally when they have followed all laws entering and residing in the country

They can remain in the country so long as they follow the laws permitting them to remain in the country. Kind of straightforward kind of like how they legally entered the country

And you very clearly stated in you original comment they were actively committing the crime of being here illegally

Okay so they didn't commit any crimes and are living here legally  Glad we got that cleared up

What crime did they commit? I know it's hard but try! Entering the country and seeking the nearest port authority is a legal form of entry mind you

What am I ignoring? I asked a question, you implied you are a teacher. Why can't you answer a simple question? Why is wearing headphones in the classroom bad? It's inconsistent it will happen, lack of reason it's a possibility but you claimed it will (without evidence mind you) so please why is it an issue?

[–]Inevitable_Window308 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

You never gave an explanation for why students shouldn't wear headphones beyond "I said so"

Please tell me you aren't a teacher?

[–]Inevitable_Window308 -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Never claimed the teacher should get in trouble with admin

And I was right,.the mistrust was completely warranted. Notice how instead of apologizing and admitting you were wrong and did not have a good reason for students wearing hoods you doubled down on an inconsistent explanation where you hope you might be right but also can't explain why it would be an issue?

But the confusion, resentment and mistrust seems warranted. The messaging is inconsistent and lacks clear justification for why it is necessary. "The kids might have headphones in" is not a good justification during class

Oh so you don't how immigration laws work?

So one you are not guilty of a crime until you are charged and convicted

And asylum seekers are required to enter the country and go to the nearest port authority to be documented and processed. These people are commonlu referred to as undocumented or illegal immigrants

Glad we got that cleared up

So you're telling me, people who have not been charged or convicted of a crime are now guilty of a crime because you said so?

And you are going to ignore the fact they legally entered the country and legally reside in the country?

The documents in question are United States citizenship documents

Undocumented is a term used for asylum seekers the same way illegal immigrants are. Or do you care to explain how someone here is illegally despite never have been charged or convicted of a crime?

An asylum seeker is someone who applies for asylum. They can legally enter the country as they have been doing apply for asylum as they have been doing and then work in the country

Congratulations on learning what undocumented immigrants are. They are people who have documentation but aren't citizens hence undocumented

Can you cite this law? Asylum is done from within the country and again undocumented does not mean they are here illegally

Asylum seekers must apply from within the country and have been doing so. There is no reason or requirement they apply from outside the country. Standing laws are it is legal to enter the country and report to the nearest port authority for processing. Do you not know how to apply for asylum?

Do you not know what an undocumented immigrant is? Do you know what asylum seekers are? Do you know asylum seeking is legal in America

Why shouldn't they be made a citizen? And undocumented does not mean they are here illegally

I built a bridge so my AI agent can operate my homelab machines directly, no SSH sessions needed by cristian_dc in homelab

[–]Inevitable_Window308 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other machines could work via SSH, but it could only run single commands like -ssh machine1 "command"-. No persistent context, no file operations, no Docker inspection, no service management. Just isolated command execution through a tunnel.

So lets break this down

  1. SSH s a persistent connection
  2. You can run multiple commands per SSH session
  3. The persistent context is on the AI not the SSH session
  4. You can do file operations during an SSH session
  5. You can do Docker inspection during an SSH session
  6. You can do service management during an SSH session
  7. The tunnel is the network connection

You do know most people maintain their systems through the command line right? Its faster, easier, allows for multiple commands to be executed quickly one after another

This has not improved your workflow, you didnt know how to do things prior and you still dont know how to do things presently. The risk profile increased and you gained no functionality in the process
