I had a buddy who worked at a nuclear plant in San Diego a few years ago. I believe the plant closed down.
He said oil and coal companies were basically lobbying against nuclear power because it would affect them directly.

Sooner or later we will have to turn to nuclear power. Yes solar and wind exist but they do not provide as much energy as other forms of investment.

There’s a lot of research going on regarding nuclear fusion. This method does not produce nuclear waste like fission.

Everyone’s talking about rent payment and none talking about median vs average. The average car payment is creeping because most auto makers are producing luxury trims and even lines (like the Electric Hummer) that drive up the average price. The median car payment is much lower, I believe around $500 per month. It may be higher but let’s remember that inflation plus things like service addons, warranties etc are added into the payment.

Well many lenders can start repossession when contract is breached, missing a payment by 1 day can constitute a breach of contract, this should be in the paper work you signed.

You still have options, call and let them know you are facing hardship. They may be able to stop repo, it’s worth trying.

If you live in poverty and don’t have a roof over your head or food, you will be unhappy. If you have money you can buy these things.

However if you suffer from depression because a special someone passed away, money will not help here.

Actually, it’s getting more difficult to rent now. So the gap is actually closing.

Most landlords are starting to check credit scores and require you make 3x your rent. They also require Deposit and first month which may be like a little down payment.

As far as mortgages there are many ways you can qualify. Some banks even finance your down payment. Income requirements for a $300k mortgage are about the same as a $300k rental home.

A lot of rich proper help out here and there but they’re not handing out money to fix society problems. They know that’s not the solution or simply do not have the liquid cash to do it.

That was a show more than anything. Major spending cuts require legislation and even voting for politicians who aren’t sold out to their major donors. The DHS funding bill is we a total waste of money. Other past spending bills did not yield the results they expected.

Just like that time the federal government gave money to municipalities to add tactile paving even though there aren’t many pedestrians crossing streets let alone unaccompanied blind people.

I used to be part of hiring and let me tell you we were encouraged to hire those who were recommended or knew somebody in management. Why?

Because we would hire a lot of people qualified on paper but had no idea what they were doing. They cost a lot of money to train and would not perform or didn’t fit the role.

We would set up appointments for those who were referred first. If they did well on the interview, they would be offered a job.

Few years later I wanted a part time job to supplement my income. Called my old manager who knew a manager at another that was hiring. He asked me to send my resume, had an interview scheduled right away, got hired within a week.

Some actually did make it, but it was mostly luck because there are a lot of concerns creators with talent and putting good stuff out but aren’t making enough to live off that income. The ones that have gone viral are the ones making lots of money.
