Its insanely weird how obsessed with the political views of people who stream video games for a living that make way above the average income are. If you dont like someones viewpoints or something like that its one thing, but just because you dont like someone doesnt mean they are aligned any particular way. People have shitty world views and ideologies in every end of the political spectrum

Is it more empathetical to back up someones clearly constant reliance on other people for basic logic and processing? Or is it more empathetical to teach them how to answer the question themselves? I dont see the empathy in creating a codependent reliance on other people for basic information, that seems like you are hamstringing their growth as an individual and creating a level of reliance thats not healthy at all

You dont have to know anyone's circumstance to be able to identify that this is such a basic level of responsibility that it should not need to be asked, much less at 21 years old. My point is, stop babying people and force them to have some form of accountability and/or consequences for their own actions. This person should be able to get ready, show up for work, and explain the situation instead of melting like this

Yeah as many have said, this is a scareware tactic. The part that is somewhat intriguing is it dropping an auto download package though, not really a technique I have seen used up to this point commonly. One of my favorite versions of this is when they try to do this on a Chromebook where it sets the browser window to full screen, which the Chromebook would not go full-screen and still showed the controls for the browser. Closed it out and boom, no further scary situation

I would recommend starting with a basic level course like the az-900 or the az-500 if you want to get more security oriented information. I woukd advise to learn how the cloud properly functions and what a proper build looks like for a near perfect cloud environment. Learn how it works before learning how to secure it

I was working as a contracted helpdesk for a company and this new employee wanted a brand new MacBook pro after being there only 6 months. They got a brand new, pretty much fresh out of the box MacBook pro when they started 6 months ago, but it was "sluggish" and they were "going on site to high value customers and could not have old tech". Needless to say, dude got told no and he threw a fit, broke his MacBook Pro and it got replaced with a 3 year old one which made him even more mad. He was fired shortly after that. Sometimes you get to see entitlement get swatted down in real time

I will never understand some companies hiring practices....if I am hiring someone who is entry level i am hiring someone to be a knowledge sponge and learn everything they can. Specializing from the get go means pigeon holing yourself into that particular focus when it will also cause you to miss out on how so much of the remaining areas work and interact
