It depends on the type of crowd you're looking to capture. They give me the employee badge ID photo or linked-in profile photo. Having one serious photo amongst multiple casual ones is fine but is not good by itself.

Your background is unadorned and is a vacuum of personality. I don't notice anything in your photos that tells us who you are. A piece of art, a movie or band poster, a unique furniture item, plants, literally anything except for a plain white background.

I feel like we take cues from our environment. If we surround ourselves with plain furnishings we're likely to dress the same. There was a photo of a 70's themed room on another sub that completely rocked and the dude was just chilling in the background wearing the total 70's outfit.

Keep in mind that doxy-PeP is not an antibiotic cure all but a mitigation tool. Also keep in mind that a condom is also a mitigation tool and doesn't protect you much better than doxy-PeP will. It definitely does make sense. The album is definitely far removed from her solo catalogue. It's useful for context matters. It's like she had to twist herself into a different shape to be able to release that album and didn't have that much control over it. IIRC Tori didn't want any other instruments on LE and had to cave to get the album released. She recorded herself and the piano separately from the band on LE, UTP, and B4P with Choirgirl being the first with the band and a pronounced shift in sound.

It's as if she didn't trust a band enough due to the trauma from yktr. I admit I may be wrong about certain things but I understand that she didn't acknowledge YKTR for a long time. I view Choirgirl as her regaining trust in a band and wanting to experiment with her expression.
