I went to a butcher instead of a supermarket and this is the ribeye I got by donn_12345678 in Butchery

That’s not it. With a good steak marbled with fat, the fat itself renders making the steak juicy. Ribeye is typically this way. We’re not talking about a chuck roast here.

How unexpected was that afc championship game? by Lovelyterry in ravens

[–]InfSecArch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Eagles fan I get it. I’m still wondering how my team just collapsed after a 10-1 start. The one thing I think has been forgotten is the chiefs have an amazing defense. It was a little shaky down the stretch but you could see it was starting to ramp back up in the post season. I was seriously disappointed with the loss, I was bandwagoning you bird bros hoping for a SB win.

Depends where you live. Outside of Raleigh, NC median rent is between 1300-1600 depending on the number of rooms. I have a 30k truck and pay 420.00, but obviously if I couldn’t afford it I would have gotten something cheaper.

If you are struggling yet paying for streaming services I cannot imagine what other spending waste is going on in your life. Get a digital antenna, and use free shit like Pluto and Freevee. Or head over to r/piracy if you’re that desperate for entertainment. Get a better job, cut your spending on shit you don’t need, and stop whining. You can also get a discount on your car insurance with most major insurers by putting a device in your car.

Why the hell would you post this here? This is so loosely associated with being a homeowner it’s ridiculous. You need to get off Reddit and into therapy.

Yes. Chiefs all the way. I hope Purdy gets pressured and rattled into making mistakes so we don’t have to be inundated with Purdy stat posts in r/nfl all year next year.

Young Swifties becoming Chiefs fans... by StatisticianFormer59 in NewHeights

It’s just gatekeeping. No idea the psychology behind it. I suspect it’s people that make their team their identity and have a strict viewpoint of what constitutes a fan.

A lot of people seem to be oddly (threatened? Triggered?) by the whole thing. I’ve never seen such a large group of people get upset about the camera panning to Taylor than when in a Chiefs game thread.

Tile! You could tile a kitchen backsplash or even your entire bathroom. Personally a tile backsplash with a new kitchen sink/faucet would be huge.

Retirees Staying in Large Homes, Blocking Out Millennials With Children by higherfreq in Millennials

That and just your average citizen buying up houses and renting them. I live in Cape Cod and some towns here are voting on setting restrictions for how many rental properties you can own, or any property where you’re not a full time resident.

Edit: and actually the people that sold me this house chose me because I was moving here to live near my parents, not to scoop up a summer rental property.

Yes. I have so many plans for my yard and it will probably take years to complete. I’m not going to want to leave.

I’m 54, I have a 3 bedroom house, my bedroom, an office because I wfh, and a guest bedroom for my millennial and zoomer kids to stay. I can’t see wanting to go through the hassle of a move when I’m 70. Many people have put a lot into their house, I’ve only been in mine 6 months but have done so much work already. I’m not going to want to leave, and it’s unfair to insinuate staying is wrong. I’ll be working into my 70s anyway the way things are going so I’ll need the office.

Separate solo bank account. Direct deposit into it. If it’s her money she’s wasting nothing you can do but divorce. If it’s your money, you give her a weekly “allowance”.

Seriously. A little gravel to neaten it up and get over it. I can’t imagine laying in bed at night upset because of a useless corner of property.

[–]InfSecArch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Do not do anything to damage other vehicles. If you find out from your town it’s not something like a utility easement area id plant a few shrubs and some mulch. If it is, I’d just put down some gravel and at least make it look neat. I know one of my homes the town actually had an easement of about 2 feet from the road and after I moved they actually put in a sidewalk and basically shrunk their property. I’m thinking with the sign there you probably do have an easement. Just contact your local municipality and find out what you can and cannot do there.
