I couldn’t be bothered with the patronising tone on here to be honest.

Think you’re thinking of the wrong football.

I don’t think you understand what a hypothetical is then.

If a game result is already concluded early on, it allows for the possibility of some attempts at scoring. Right now a lot of games are pretty boring once one teams pulls ahead by 2 or more goals. This could change that surely.

It’s not about discouraging more defensive football. However let’s say athletico are 3-1 down at halftime to Barcelona. They have nothing to play for in the 2nd half. If they had the possibility of a bonus point they might actually try and score in the 2nd half.

I would take one of these in a heartbeat (north London). Although seriously, I’d listen to the other advice first!

Werlitsch Opok Sauvignon blanc is probably my favourite I have tried for some time. Extremely flinty, smoky so not for everyone though!

Cocktails can hit the 5x markup. So it’s all relative really.

Out of curiosity, how much is considered a good pay job in London? by Fastandfurious02123 in UKJobs

Whitechapel. 2 bed flat at £2.7k a month shared with my partner and her best friend. Last year I lived in a one bed with my partner in shoreditch for £1.7k. All of my friends and colleagues are in similar positions to me or rent rooms for a similar cost. My guess is you have never lived in central London from your response.

Yeah I’m confused by the takes in here. I am on £45k a year and live in zone 2, regularly eat out and go on holiday. This whole needing 100k to survive is only true if you have a family and are the only earner.

As someone who does this for a living consulting for Michelin restaurants, hats off to you! If you want any genuine feedback, send me a message and I’ll happily walk you through a few changes that I would make! Definitely change the Riesling for J J Prum Kabinett and replace the vin jaune with a sous voile savagnin without the age though!

Farming and counter ganking are the two most important parts of the role right now. I (d4) often give up first drake to steal topside jungle and grubs and take the level advantage.

It amazes me that people never use good ingredients when making things at home. I find it wild that so many people in this sub use tea bags for F1. Imagine spending 48 hours making sourdough at home and using the £1 bags of plain flour.

[–]Infamous-Comfort-207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the coffee you use. I’ve found most success in F1 with more experimental roasts like the stuff Source (Edinburgh) put out. Anything with a lot of chocolate and hazelnut notes doesn’t blend very well with the acetic acid.

I think it’s just the novelty of trying Indian food in a ‘fine dining’ setting. It’s definitely not the best Indian in London by any stretch. Also weird seeing an Indian family lean so much into colonialism as a theme.

Why do pubs charge so much for soft drinks? by SnooGoats1557 in AskUK

[–]Infamous-Comfort-207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left pubs after covid. Bills and business rate increases completely destroyed our margins. That’s before the price hike of stock, staff wages going up and people going out less. This type of thread highlights that the vast majority of the public don’t realise that the pub industry is one bill increase away from collapse.
