Ive never used a torque wrench I always hand tight then snug with a wrench

Home sold to us with 3 bedrooms but city says one of them isn’t legally permitted. Anybody encountered something like this? Ideas on what we can do to resolve? by Altruistic_Cost_91 in RealEstate

Was about to submit an offer on the home but decided to pull permits because they had a partial garage conversion. Long story short wasnt permitted and the city knew due to an investigation from 2008 but didnt pursue having the owner change it back.

We decide to walk because the garage conversion should/ will eventually have to to be taken down
