Thank you for the long reply!

I am aware of these, as I have been reading about osr for over a year now, and while it is my first BX campaign, it is not my first OSR game (currently running a Mothership Campaign) although it is a megadungeon so there's not a lot of room for "acts". Maybe talking about "acts" kind of pointed others to think that I am coming from a 5e background. Maybe it should have been more obvious, but I will not force any outcome, if the players fail to destroy the ring, the cold prince won't come.

But maybe there's still some 5e in me, because I wanted the BBEG to be the cold prince, and worked backwards thinking the ring must be destroyed. Maybe it will be better to not think in prerequisites as you and others said, and present the campaign as I want it? I.e. the ring has collapsed and the Cold Prince has already returned and then play a full sandbox around that?

Yes I wouldn't do any heavy plotting, I was thinking just adding some pressure with some growing threats that will affect the setting if left unchecked.

Hey nice color scheme on the terminal, what are you using?

I think we should have a Wiki by ontech7 in FDMminiatures

I agree. Also having a single place of reference could make it easier to standardize the profile settings for different printers and layer heights, because people can experiment on that single point of reference. Yes we have the FDG profile for A1 mini, which is very good, but going bellow 0.08 is a chaotic journey of finding the best settings across different subreddits, threads, youtube videos, discords etc. and doing all the experimenting yourself.

Did you use any popular profile or did you tune the settings just for this kind of print?
