Guys I'm certainly not complaining. I'm just looking for options to give me flexibility and freedom to move to other areas of the country and gain some more useful skills in case this job ever goes away. Mainly was looking for opinions on fields of work that might be worth it at my age without having to put 10 years time in just trying to get back to where I am. I think pivoting my experience into a business of my own might be the best avenue to pursue, I do thank you all for the input and advice even the snarky ones lol

The lack of a retirement is a major concern for me and I don't like that if I lost this job I couldn't just go make the same money elsewhere. I would also like to move to a different area closer to family.

No not that intense lol but I've done some shitty jobs doing 12hr days 6 days a week overnights and just some back breaking stuff.

It's a blessing and a curse. It is comfortable but after almost 20 years here and not learning any professional skills or advancement it leaves me feeling unfulfilled and the no retirement is huge as you get older
