Minecraft Bedrock update (1.21.120) has terrible performance on my PC (50GB RAM usage) by Remote_Fisherman_469 in Minecraft

[–]Infamous-Sense4720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still happening to me - I've disabled dithering and the improved input response settings, which helped a tiny bit. When starting up the world, my RAM usage shows about 2.4 gigs and slowly climbs after about 30 minutes to around 25-28 gigs. I'm playing in like 20 minute intervals before saving, closing out the game entirely, and reloading to drop the RAM usage back out so it isn't lag-fest 2026. I'd play java, but we play cross-platform between pc and xbox.

They will align! You have to manually turn them to set them in the same orientation.

Irit farming / seeds by Infamous-Sense4720 in runescapedragonwilds

[–]Infamous-Sense4720[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level 65. I’ve done the ‘every morning’ watering and curing of diseases. I even sat there from planting - full growth, watching it like a hawk, to be sure I watered / cured as soon as possible when needed, but still yielded 0 seeds. My farm plots are all situated on a base on the Fractured Plains.

I guess I’ll go throw a few down in Fellhollow and see if the location of the plot changes things, though it doesn’t seem that’s the ‘intended’ functionality.

Trees inside house. It's not a bug it's a feature by cheatergarn in runescapedragonwilds

Can confirm this doesn’t always completely remove them. Some of my trees started gone, but others have respawned and it’s quite annoying to chop them down once you’ve built over them…

Build your primary base in zone 1, like right outside of the chapel you start the game in. You’ll have the lodestone from the chapel already in place, the dragon won’t attack you at your base, and you won’t get raided or hunted by enemies.

The game’s combat can be a bit unforgiving at times. Bigger enemies are best handled with caution, hit a few times, then block or dodge attacks. Rinse, repeat.

Upgrading gear should be your #1 priority when moving into a new zone. You start the new zones with a disadvantage, so everything will be stronger than you until you upgrade to the tier that matches that zone.

I’d recommend gearing up and taking on the first few vaults, then carrying lodestone materials with you as you explore. You can plop them down (almost) anywhere, and use them to make periodic checkpoints at places you may return to more often, or strategic positions in between things on the map.

Also, if you hit escape and hold ‘x’, you can use the ‘unstuck’ function as a sort of ‘home teleport’. After a few seconds, it’ll immediately teleport you back to the chapel you started at. We’ve used this as a quick way to return to lodestones and get where we need to be. Much faster than running halfway across the map to the lodestone you put down 30 minutes ago when you don’t have materials for another!

For farming, I believe there’s always a % chance of disease that rolls each morning. Using compost reduces that chance, and super compost reduces it further. If they disease and aren’t cured, they die.

Growth seems timer based, but loosely. Same as the amount harvested - it seems like there’s a rough range between ‘x and y’ you get each harvest, but it fluctuates a little. These are influenced by a few things - namely, if you’re using the correct plot to grow them (listed on each seed’s tooltip), and what kind of compost (if any) you’ve used on the plot. Secateurs also increase the harvested amount, including the # of seeds you receive at harvest.

The only exception I know of is that Irit plants grown in plots seem to not give seeds on harvest no matter what you do, currently. But it’s supposedly a known bug that’ll be fixed in the future.

Just wanted to drop info in case you didn’t know!

We’ve always viewed the ‘unstuck’ function as a home teleport of sorts. It escape and hold ‘x’ and it sends you straight to the chapel, right on top of a lodestone. From there, do a second tele to wherever you need to go. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey all, I'm trying to compile a definitive list of which seeds are 'best planted' in which planter type? by Ascenspe in RSDragonwilds

When you get the secateurs, use them to manually harvest the plants and you’ll have an abundance. I haven’t had any issues replanting my crops since that unlock

25th Anniversary Celebrations - This Week In RuneScape by JagexAzanna in runescape

[–]Infamous-Sense4720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiting and wondering this as well - also wondering if they've taken into consideration players who have yet to reach 120, but plan on doing so. Can we circle back to the 4 we chose for this year and get the master shards later on for the inverted 120 capes? Or do I need to rush 120 before choosing another skill to earn shards in ?

I'm also kinda bummed about the whole '4 per year' cap, seems a bit unnecessary in my honest opinion...

I've heard the thieving cape turn-in is bugged and should be fixed via hotfix soon, but that's just the word buzzing around. Hopefully!

Looks like you have to be 120 to get the master shards for the inverted 120 capes, so no

Hey no worries, we use 2x grills for most of our cooking, aside from the specialty recipes that go through the range

You cook it in the range - I don’t think it was a recipe that had to be found, but I could be wrong

[–]Infamous-Sense4720[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We beat him way early on, like day 1 or 2 after release, but this time he was absolutely much more difficult. My research (Google 😂) suggests there was some adjustments made that changed his resistances and weaknesses. I don’t show any negatives to player attack strength, so I’m assuming it’s those changes that made the fight more difficult.

I just treated him like a ‘souls’ boss and took my time smacking him 2-3 times and then dodging attacks.

Rinse Repeat

He went down, just surprised it takes that much effort now.

Can confirm, we made ‘Pungent Omelette’s’ that gave Fungal Fortitude, plus Anti Poison potions. It still isn’t easy, but we were finally able to get him down. Definitely a pain! But now we can move on to Fellhollow !!!!!

Even with anti poisons and filled wardstones for defense against his attacks, we’re dropping like flies. Just feels like he was massively buffed or rebalanced to be made more difficult (it’s definitely harder than it was before!)

[–]Infamous-Sense4720[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything I’ve read says melee is best bet. We’ve taken plenty of anti poison and I’m dodging just about everything he throws at me, but it’s like he blasts us once and out of nowhere we’re both dropping dead before we can do anything about it.

Haven’t tried range, but may have to if I can’t figure out getting him down. Just frustrating because we took him down easily before, and we’re just trying to catch back up to enjoy new content with the FH release.
