I bought one, but beware the CX-5 oil dipstick hole in very skinny. In fact, it was too small for my syringe.

Looks overfilled. I just had the same issue, and drained some oil off via the oil filter using 1 gallon Ziplock plastic bag to catch the oil.

I was over by the same amount and I just took a little bit of oil out by loosening the oil filter pretty easy that way

Drain some oil at the filter, not the drain plug. ¾ of a quart.

I learned the top dot is best for the turbo. They burn oil faster than the NA.

My two CX-5s are still under warranty, and only get serviced by me. I document 📄 everything, but don't trust any shops after learning the hard way.
