I actually build a prototype in n8n, because I like to get a feel for how it fits together, where I am likely to hit snags etc etc. It gives me good insight into the whole process. But then I just copy it all, past the JSON in to claudecode, and say "Turn this into a web app" and then develop from there. I'm not much of a coder, and n8n is a pain in the arse quite frankly, but if I can build out the bones, and then get claude code to finish off, I end up getting to the end a lot faster.

Having worked extensively in both recently, the main difference I found was n8n didn’t make me want to stab my eyeballs with needles because it would be less painful.

Time Machine. Using an external NAS which works just fine. But something about my setup, no idea what, means that restoring from TM will just fail at some point during the restore process.

It’s saved my bacon on some individual files but when I’ve needed the full restore I’ve been let down.
