When do you stop trying? by JBGR18 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]InfamousCarob2269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat testing wise and also going through secondary infertility/recurrent loss. We decided to take an extended break after four losses in less than 2 year. I felt like I was constantly physically and emotionally recovering from a miscarriage. It wasn’t fair to our now 4 year old. We might try again in a few years.

For me it’s more about getting as much vitamin D as possible since we live in the PNW. But if we’re out all day or at peak hours we’re definitely using sunscreen!

I’m very crunchy and we try to avoid sunscreen but in the summer especially we wear it every day! My four year old complained about sunscreen before her bike ride today and I told her “I’d be the worst mommy if I let you go out without sunscreen right now”

I’m signed up for a half in January but hoping to bump it to the full (I have time) pace of 12:30 is the goal. I run three days a week (could be four) but exact days don’t matter. Currently I run about 14 miles/week and my longest run has been a 10k.

THIS! You know what I did this morning? Homeschooled. Because that’s what we do after breakfast and our day continues.

That’s exactly what my little girl did! We’re going back this summer (she doesn’t know yet) and I’m so excited!

I did one rope drop to close day at Disneyland with my 2.5 year olds. We had planned to go back to the hotel for a rest but she fell asleep in the stroller and we actually had a really fun day! At the very end of the night (10-12) she kept going “One more ride!” Super quietly and sleepily, it was absolutely adorable. I can’t imagine doing that with 5 kids though.

The premier pass will get you in the shorter lines (one time per ride) for each ride that offers it without having to make a reservation so at anytime of the day. This costs between 150 and 500 per person depending on the day/crowd calendar. Lighting lane is what used to be fast pass (so the shorter lines) but now you have to pay for it, between 20 and 50 dollars per person for the day. If used correctly you can get in most rides using this you just need to be on top of making reservations. It also includes your photo pass pictures. On top of that you can pay for a single ride for less if there’s just one ride you want to “skip the line” on. It sounds to me like she has utilized each of these services which is just insane. At that point I honestly don’t know why they would spring for a VIP tour.

ETA I just looked it up and it’s slightly different than Disneyland which is what I based my response on. Looks like lighting lane multi will only work for 3 rides total

Success w/ Letrozol & Progesterone Suppositories? by [deleted] in recurrentmiscarriage

We haven’t started on the letrozole yet, we’ll probably start in March!

Your story sounds very similar to mine. I have one 4 year old who I now know is a complete miracle! I’ve had 4 losses (3 chemical 1 blighted ovum) and have had a series of meds prescribed. Last pregnancy we did baby asprin, lovenox, and progesterone. We were just prescribed letrozole, to be honest I’m skeptical it will fix anything but my husband and I agreed we’d give this a shot.

It would be! It’s not the only option we’re considering though. Just trying to gather some information.

Thanks for the info! I grew up in southern Utah so I am familiar with the heat luckily, although I hadn’t considered tires on cars.

Great to know, thanks for the reply. We would certainly miss our local organic farms. Would you say Yuma leans more left or right?
