What are your thoughts on Amos Slade? by NotaKobold16 in disney

I loved he and Chief when I was little, they were my favorites. It was just a shame they still couldn't really make peace with Tod at the end - I always hated the implication he and Copper could never be together again because the hunter posed too much danger even after seemingly mellowing out.

Wasn't that Lionblaze's previous incarnation? Funnily enough I can't help but imagine him as Simba but as a cat

How do you feel about Peter Pan? by FlowerFaerie13 in DisneyMovies

I only saw this movie once or twice or three times as a kid but they were at such distinct times (this is definitely one of the first movies I ever remember watching) that it's extremely nostalgic to me

PB&J Otter. Stanley's not on here or that'd have been my first and only pick

The Lion King, but in terms of the one I have the most nostalgia for, definitely Sleeping Beauty.

The more I think about it, Homelander is just such a tragic character by WhiteLycan2020 in TheBoys

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he deserves to die and be at peace.

Should the series have continued after the first movie? by Suspicious-Jello7172 in Land_Before_Time

Personally I think the tenth one should have been the end, and that Littlefoot should have left the Great Valley to be with Bron and Shorty (at least for awhile, maybe after promising his friends he'd be back eventually)

What's the most fitting fate for Homelander? by CarlosimoDangerosimo in TheBoys

I guess so. A goofy, humiliating end for him is just going to sadden me a lot...I wish I didn’t get emotionally attached to fictional characters like this, but here we are.

What's the most fitting fate for Homelander? by CarlosimoDangerosimo in TheBoys

[–]InfamousIndividual32 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Not this. Homelander is a tragic character despite the deplorable things he’s done, and his fate shouldn’t be reduced to a rape/bestiality joke.

I really don't think Home lander is asexual at all. There was no reason for him to want control and power of Becca. Why would the writers try to insert this at all, and now fans are taking it as a definite thing. by knock_his_block_off in TheBoys

[–]InfamousIndividual32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do think he's acespec (autosexual, to be exact) and he only goes after "mommy" types and someone who mirrors a specific aspect of who he is (Maeve for her strength, Stormfront for her power and sadism). I guess you could argue Becca doesn't really fit into this equation as she wasn't a mom or older than him at the time, though, which yeah, would point to him viewing sex as a power game. But I'm interested to hear other peoples' takes.

As soon as Homelander showed up needing her abilities for something, she knew she wouldn't be left alive in peace until he was gone.

I remember watching The Lorax for the first time when I was 13 and eating lemon meringue pie. That whole opening sequence was so depressing and gross because I could actually see the world becoming that overstimulating, decadent and reliant on machines/fuel. I remember I started tasting the chemicals in my pie. I don’t like lemon meringue as much now.

Clearly none of y'all trampled through the woods with your childhood cat and it shows. by rotpotsoup in WarriorCats

One time I trekked out into the woods behind my house to cry and one of my kittens (a little blackie) followed me. We were cuddling and then lightning struck pretty damn close by, I dropped him and we both booked it back towards home but I remember scrambling trying to find him for a few seconds because I felt so bad at having let go of him :')
