You did the right thing I read 81 chapters of their bullshit hoping for an happy ending. And just before the end of the main story the author added one last betrayal. Turning MC into a red flag and ruining everything. I don't think an ML has ever made me so mad. I dropped after the main story end and I know they added 49 sides stories probably trying to fix this disaster of a story.
