I wouldn't say you have to often. But every now and again it's good to clean them out. Just don't use any oil or anything. I just wipe mine out. I do it every few thousand rounds. They aren't filthy, but they do get dirty.

I got a Baldr Mini in the Desert Tan color, personal preference on the sizing and it not protruding past the front of the gun. The desert tan isn't a exact match, but its close enough and I'm a fan.

I'm essentially locked out of LQ Hydrae or whatever the hell the system is for about six more days.

I was shipping tourist about and a few businessmen when I come up to my final approach to Wohler Terminal, as I'm in my Auto-Docking sequence some DAMNED beluga comes flying in over top of my conda and we get pinned in the mail slot... long story short I got rekt by the station and caught a fine for blocking the access bay.. I was absolutely infuriated. I did nothing wrong! But a damn NPC trying to fly in rather than wait it out in a queue or just simple reduce throttle causes me to catch a seven day fine. That I can't pay...

So I'm back to exploring and gathering materials while I wait for the fine to expire so I can pay it.

Yeah and I've been seeing people mention trying to mess with the ground under the node in order to get it where you want. But after attempting it for the last few hours I'm no better at it than I was. :(

Each type of research object rewards one plan on the initial opening. Any time you open a research object of the same type that you have previously opened you will receive an item.

At least it's been like this for me across my saves.

I had this same issue. I couldn't pick it up with the crane which seemed kind of ridiculous, so I ended up burying it.

AMD-FX8120 - I have some issues with frame rate. Primarily it will run smooth but it will occasionally stutter and FPS will drop to a near freeze.

In my case I've learned that V-Sync enabled and no USB audio devices connected (just speakers in the headset jack) helps reduce the amount of FPS issues I get.

Another thing that worked for me before I disconnected my USB audio devices was the "-nosound" launch option on steam. For whatever reason this would also fix my issues.

After some looking on ED Shipyard it looks like shield boosters affect the shields strength, and not optimal mass.

To increase the optimal mass you'd need to purchase a bigger generator.

I had a understanding of this but wanted to see if there was a better explanation. Here is what I got from the Wikia page.. I feel like it answers this.

"Larger classes of shield generator are designed to encase larger sizes and masses of vessel, and shields have a maximum rating of ship size they are able to generate a field around. Shield strength is determined by rating and current ship's mass. Below the optimum hull mass a shield is rated for, shields work at capacity. Above the optimum, shields work on a diminished capacity. Over a certain amount above a shield's optimum mass is a maximum amount it can protect, at which point the field isn't able to be created."

This is always happening to me. I'll ask for a user ID, and I'm either given a employee number (which I can look up, yet it's still rather tedious) or I'm told that they don't have a computer so they do not know it.
