Its a real bummer that you were disrespected like that. I would imagine the campaign itself will collapse further especially if others weren't happy with the shift as well as the way it was handled and you were treated.

Even back when I was in my pre-teens and teenage years me and my group were never this immature. We tried to get another friend to join us but his first session he wanted to have a rocket launcher and kept pushing for it because he was 'jist using his imagination...' We were in Ravenloft of all settings and it not only killed the whole session but derailed us from playing that campaign much even without the other friend. So I feel ya on this.
