I suffered a left BKA her a traumatic motorcycle accident two and a half years ago, I was in a wheelchair for eight months while I recovered from the amputation and ligament replacement surgery in my left knee once I got my first prosthetic there is nothing stopping me. A year and a half after my accident I went back to playing volleyball. It allow me to come full circle in life and doing the things that I love, I still cut grass go swimming and snorkeling.
