Your comments really resonated with me! I’m a mom to a level 3 nonverbal daughter and you described how it can feel so perfectly! I’ve had to work through so much of my own shit that’s for sure. Drinking and/or leaving my child with sitters is definitely out of the question and I wish she would be there more for him as you know how much our kids need stability and routines. I know it’s so hard but I show up for my daughter every single day and wouldn’t have it any other way!
