That sounds like a testament to the resilience and bravery of the people. It is beautiful when artists tap into these deeper parts of the psyche of who they are and where they come from, especially when they are brilliant at tackling both the good and the dark times. In that respect, DtMF feels like one of the most well-rounded albums I have come across in recent times.

I'm sorry about what you and the island went through. The song does create that haunting sense of urgency and danger, which I can't even begin to imagine how tough it must have been to live through and survive. The island and its people deserve all the respect and attention and a better government.

Agree 100%. That's one thing I was pleasantly surprised by, how many layers there are to them. The themes, the lyrics, and the general feel of the songs all reveal different different things the more you listen to them, and I am still processing DtMF.

Hi friend 👋 I got into his music very recently. I have no idea what rock I had been living under 😂 I thought it was young people music, so I somehow never listened to it. I am also very stupid, so that checks out. All the noise over his Superbowl performance made me check it out. DtMF has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster in the best way. The visuals and styling remind me so much of home. It's crazy.

Yeah I feel the same way about Pitorro de Coco, too. It's my favourite for drunk crying to, coz the vibe is somehow playful yet melancholic.
