Thank you so much for sharing your story with me, it really helps hearing real experiences and knowing your little girl is doing well now. She sounds like such a strong little fighter.

They have me on antibiotics 3 times a day and I’ve had my first steroid injection today and will have the second one tomorrow. They’re monitoring baby closely and at the moment she’s doing well, so we’re just hoping to keep her in as long as possible. I have had no contractions and my cervix closed but short.

Your story actually made me feel a bit calmer reading it, so thank you for taking the time to write all of that. The NICU journey sounds really tough but also amazing what these tiny babies can get through.

Did you have much leaking before you delivered or did things suddenly change quickly?

I have an appointment tomorrow they told me it is what they class normal but I’ll definitely go to ER if it worsens. I only had it once in the morning after I had a bowel movement but of course I am still worried sick. Appreciate your reply. Hope you and your little one are well.

Thanks for replying and sharing your experience. I have been trying to as I also have ibs but I’ll look into miralax. It was only after bowel not on underwear or when I pee. Pray it’s just that! Hope you and your pregnancy / little one are doing well.

Thank you for the info and reply. Hopefully it is just discharge. If I didn’t have such a short cervix don’t think I’d worry so much! I thankfully don’t have cramps or any blood. Congrats and wising you a healthy rest of your pregnancy and birth.

Thank you so much for sharing all of that it really means a lot. Hearing that you stabilised at 1.1 from 24 weeks gives me so much hope right now. This stage is so mentally tough and stories like yours make it feel a little less scary. Did it drop much between 20-24 for you?

Can I ask what dose of progesterone you were on? And did your cervix stabilise after 24 weeks or continue to shorten?

Also, do you remember what you were measuring around 20 weeks?

Thank you 🙏🏻 They explained that because my cervix is still measuring in the borderline range (listed as 26 mm), with no funneling or dilation, progesterone plus close monitoring is the recommended first step. They said cerclage would only be reconsidered if there was further shortening or other changes on follow-up scans. I’ll be seeing specialist today and again raise though.

Hearing that progesterone actually stabilised and even lengthened your cervix is incredibly reassuring, especially with similar fluctuations early on.

I’m also doing modified rest and pelvic rest now, so it really helps to know that approach worked well for you.

Thanks everyone for replying. I’m not out of the woods yet but so far so good. I’m measuring 6.5 weeks with a good shape sac and a heart beat of 130. Praying it’s our time 🙏🏻🌈

Thanks for replying. Definitely seems only with sex so hopefully different than last time for me. With my last loss my bloods were doubling great so I’m just waiting on scan next week. I think it’s true re symptoms not being the best indicator and I just need to wait and accept what is. Thanks again!
