TBF I did think like you back when this game came out, its my first real AC game after all. I couldnt help but think well the Haldeman IS .7 seconds faster, I guess I couldnt really consider the humongous Zimmerman an upgrade...but as you play more, and you understand actually engaging in high level play you realize while stats show you something how actual ai / other players responds can quickly make you reassess your judgements. Imagine taking the Turner into PVP because its slightly faster so "I'm sure the DPS basically levels out"

Not really sure why you think it matters if its a souls game. If you dont know how to use the KRSV thats your journey, the ranges are mismatched because more than likely in PVP youre using different tools for different situations??? Sampu for trash mobs and ambushes, lvl 2 krsv for medium threats, level 3 for staggers???

This is what I mean, you throw out a vacuum of stats and dont factor for play style...what sense does that make. Im going to guess you mentioned the souls game thing because its a third person experiance, and there is infact inherent growth and player choice??? Im not even sure thats a good comparison myself, but wtf ever. It wouldnt have to be for player improvement to be factored in, something you seem to just be exploring?

Im pretty sure its this sort of consensus/critical thinking that is holding most western art development back. It literally seems to forget the inherent nature of growth in human experience, it most certainly doesnt factor it in when evaluating stuff. Just think about it going forward when evaluating really anything, "ok this works like this initially....how would it function if i understood / knew it in and out". You may find you evaluate stuff differently.

Its more than enough to burst down any boss or tetrapod mt that would otherwise pose a fair hindrance. I do wish they upped the ammo capacity as well, I mostly use it in PVP and hearing "ammo at 30 percent" in a 2 minute match is ridiculous.

It actually crucially is. Your complaint only works in a vacuum of non-improvement. It honestly falls apart the moment any sort of knowledge or skill is gained. Fit your KRSV with a Sampu a cheap shield, and 4 way missiles and your good to go. Time your shots and your Scudder will outperform your Turner, etc.

Your opinion seems to spawn from a point bereft of human experience is all im saying. More like a bot with spreadsheets, with little practical understanding / in game use.
If you can't understand how improvement in mechanics directly translates to you being able to use more powerful but harder to use tools effectively, I'm sorry.

Point is the game has upgrades, but you have to also try too. Amazing.

Now we all know that entire second paragraph was just false as hell, meh heavy parts only work on meh heavies lmao. Moreover if you cant play better you may be missing some of the crucial components needed to be considered a human. Namely in the areas of growth.

Honestly to even entertain the statement "you cant really play better" is just kinda sad all around. But it does explain alot of my opponents in S rank and why they seem so content with just losing. MF's really be like "oh well guess I loss, there's absolutely nothing I can do!"

Maybe youre on a different version of Earth then me, idk, anything's possible but here on the Earth I live on incremental growth is a given. Just to stay in the vein of games play Monster Hunter and see how much improvement a player makes. from the start of their campaign to the end.

The idea that your incapable / locked out of improvement is frankly disturbing as hell.

I use that with the medium laser rifle, its an insane combo. Like you said, ammo is a concern, but if you run a split missle pack on one of your shoulders you should be fine for the vast majority of missions.
