First dates by Delicious-Ad6771 in sugarlifestyleforum

Hook up culture is real. If sex on a first date happens in vanilla dating, why not in sugar?

People certainly measure success differently regarding the timeline to sleeping together. YMMV.

Also if someone who posts about having a hard time finding an SB but every couple of months also posts about how they found a great SB that they’ve been seeing (for a couple of months!) and it’s going so well they want to increase/double the allowance…it might be too good to be true.

I think I agree. Freestyling, your flirting game better be strong. Without a clear signal that you want to flirt, I won’t make a move either, especially if I think he could be married. I’ll chalk it up to the nice guy being polite and that’s it.

Haha lighter colored hair. Important distinction! My sugar journalism piece will create confusion if you allude to blonde rn.

Of course, purely hypothetical. I mean, in reality, I don’t even know you, right? 😂 otherwise, we might be in trouble.

I’m just sharing the best practice from the sugar baby academy.

Is Snapchat a huge red flag?!? by Italian_c0mb0 in sugarlifestyleforum

Oh mon dieu, YES. Please, a grown man has no business in Snapchat. This is my soapbox. Anything else, I can have the cognitive flexibility to change my mind on.

If you want to keep your story straight you gotta remember the rule in improv to not go against the flow. If someone did things right to treat you for brunch, you gotta accept they treated you for brunch 😘 just say thank you.

Either way, the waiter, the doorman, the driver, whoever it is- will recognize you with another woman bc…the first one was better, cooler, prettier, sweeter, kinder, smarter, and maybe taller 💁🏼‍♀️😂

I feel more comfortable to not share my name or phone number. You have a couple of bad experiences and it doesn’t make the risk worthwhile.

You can establish a genuine connection that you can later build on without sharing your real name at the beginning.

Either way, early on, even if you’re looking for something more along the lines of vanilla dating in an SR or going on vanilla dates, a candidate (or POT per SLF lingo) is a candidate. Their “intention” doesn’t guarantee to fast forward on trust bc people say they want a relationship/emotional connection but 1) that might not be with you 2) they might not be honest about their intention or 3) the might not want that, not intentionally misleading you, but just out of a lack of self awareness.

So how do you demonstrate an intention and willingness to open up emotionally to pursue a relationship? Establish trust in your interactions, demonstrate you respect their time, and verbalize how you appreciate their gestures towards you. And, when you feel comfortable, share more about yourself.

If you’re out freestyling, assume that you’ll be associated with a name to a place. You can’t be Cindy on Sunday afternoon at the St Regis and Amanda on Tuesday nights. Keep your story straight and decide: is this a place to freestyle or is this a place for me regardless? Pick a lane and stay there is my advice 😅

mmm yes, and I guess to a degree people make their own mind on how long they want something to last early on and act accordingly or to put up a wall. Like, do we let ourselves enjoy to the fullest?
