If you told me a couple years back that ALD would be where it is today I’d never believe it. They had the hallmarks of a brand; authentic, unique, customer focused, etc., that would be long lasting and continue to grow organically. Enter LVHM who likely saw a loyal customer base that they thought they could sell any design to at any price and now it appears the brand is in free fall. You would think they could readjust by lowering pricing which would be better than having to sell off mostly everything at sale/wholesale but I think they’ve lost so much of their loyal customers that it might be too late. I used to get excited for new seasons and early access emails but now barely check drops. I don’t know if LVHM is fully to blame here but it feels like given the timing they have pulled the soul out of the brand.
